  1. This stretch hasn't given me the desire to post much. The Jay's compete level is not where it needs to be. Take control and catch the f***ing ball.
  2. Yea seriously, I have zero faith in him. I don't care what anyone else says the unpredictability of his pitch is just through the roof. He can throw 5 innings of no hit ball and then blow up at anytime. The worst part, is when the knuckleball is moving so much the umps have trouble figuring where it crossed the plate which clearly frustrates both him & Martin every game it seems and guys get on base whether they should or not. It's just a stupid f***ing pitch and he's so lucky he made a successful baseball career at all.
  3. Why does anyone give a s*** if someone admires their homerun? Why is it considered disrespectful?
  4. Yea he'll definitely come down but he's contributed tremendously when most had minimal expectations from him (myself included). Baseball is a rare sport where a 979th draft pick can become a starter on a contending team (relative to the division) from determination, plenty of luck, and the right opportunity. You don't see that unfold too often in most other sports.
  5. For a team like the Jays with no outfield depth, it's safe to call Pillar a starter, we have no better options and he's defensive range really does make up for any lack of projected offense. Pompey is locked in right now in AA with an 1100 OPS. He really needs to be here to solidify the OF imo considering you can't trust Saunders even returning this season the way things have played out.
  6. My fantasy team got a lot better today
  7. He seems quite capable at 1B. I understand fielding% isn't a concrete stat to look at but if you consider his 11 year minor league career with 689 games at 1B, he has a .990 Fld%. In comparison, Justin Smoak has an identical .990 % in 214 games at 1B. Cola has never been used at his natural position at the majors for defensive metrics to be useful.
  8. Or would we have the lead with the added out?
  9. Tie game if Travis didn't make that first pitch error.
  10. f*** off Buck "They still don't have a hit". Because he's going to throw a 200 pitch no hitter.
  11. Let's start comparing Estrada to Nolan Ryan and Dave Stieb after walking in a run. Good calll Sportsnet.
  12. Going to be a 25+ pitch inning... Let's get out of this.
  13. Can Buck and Navarro stfu already about Navarro, about to hit mute.
  14. It would be a real treat getting to listen to Buck try to pronounce his name all game. If they are only interested in rental arms I'd be more interested Cueto but the Shark should come cheaper.
  15. You're giving me the heebie jeebies... I hope you pull through. I can't measure your luck as I don't have your minor league BABIP stats in front of me.
  16. I don't understand why everyone harps on Colabello's lack of D. You're pulling mostly on his outfield defensive metrics. If you stuck Smoak in LF how well would he fair?
  17. If you follow the Jays or TSN on Facebook don't ever click the comments button on a post... Like ever. It makes article comments look like expert analysis.
