    JB is more than delighted that JD is on his team smashing, are you kidding? He might get mad at times when he misses a hitable pitch in his mind, but that's how he's always been. That's not new to him this year and he certainly doesn't care that the focus & media are all over JD. Bautista boycotted Sportsnet all summer to support a teammate he doesn't give a s*** about the attention, he just wants to win.

    Yea the multiple devices anywhere quickly is just great. The best feature though is getting to watch the game using the alternate Fan590 audio feed (or opposing team's feeds). Watching the game with Jerry calling it is really awesome, that is until Wilner shows up for a couple innings. FYI - Called MLB Support, they are complete tools and don't know anything. He assumes we get up to 30% off, 10% each. Not that I care about a couple bucks, it's the principal at this point, they will call me with a follow up later.

    Actually Yu Darvish probably wouldn't get much more today considering he set the bar coming over. The real reason he'd get more would be more to do with the lower posting fees than anything but I get your point.

    @ $36MM AAV that's more than 50% of the bottom team's entire payroll and 20% more than Kershaw during arguably JD's declining years? Seems outrageous but I can't predict the future.

    So you can have one of the best positional players in 2018 at a bargain price surrounded by studs with hopes of being a very competitive team and you'd rather sell him off for prospects? If a deal can't be worked out in advance we don't need to recoup the prospects lost for him, use every last drop of value out of him to win because that's why we got him.

    For the past couple of years now there really is no better series to watch as a Jays fan for the intensity than against the O's. It's about our only real rivalry at the moment and it feels like something can happen at any point in a game. If the Jays have the division locked up by their last series with the O's (second last series of the season) I fully expect a team of bench players getting the start all series.

    Quite honestly I don't care if it works out for me or not, the odds of me getting tickets would be hard enough and I'm not dropping $1000 on a game. My 114" Theater Room works pretty sweet as an alternative.

    I'll never be convinced how much better it would be without an optional roof, you know your tickets are good the day you bought them. The actual playing surface is another story but I think having the option to close a stadium is excellent. It's sort of too bad we have the ugliest retractable roof stadium but we can't just replace it with minute maid park.

    For every injured player, the club can add a replacement. He (or someone) will replace Izturis from the 60 Day DL making him postseason eligible.

    I don't know he had shoulder issue last week and a cortisone shot, I don't really give a s*** about him to care though.

    If we have face off in the WC with Price, in what world does the Dickey effect work against a different team who's had about a week's rest in game #1?

    That doesn't mean Hutch is less of a pitcher than Estrada who's had a ton of luck go his way. Estrada sports a .229 BABIP... His HR/FB is at a career low while his FB% is the highest it's been in 5 years. Statistically it's made for great results but not when you think about an inevitable regression. He could get tattooed anytime and Stroman replacing him just seems like the right option. Estrada is comfortable out of the pen, we don't know what Hutch would bring and he's a great back up arm to use as a spot starter or long man.

    Well if you're going to go by results Hutch's 13-2 is pretty dazzling. If you're going to go by ERA which is just a stat in itself why not look at other stats that are more meaningful?
