  1. and we have all 3 under control for years to come.
  2. Meaningful September baseball doesn't get much better than this weekend. It'll be disappointing if they are all rain outs.
  3. You reached back for a little something extra on that suggestion.
  4. We'd only be in first place that would look horrible.
  5. Considering even the best teams rarely sport a .600 win % a split would be the most common outcome. Sorry I thought we were looking for who would have the edge in a double header.
  6. FYI your username is already being used here as Soft Hands, please don't confuse me.
  7. Man I really hope the Jays continue to bring in big attendance next year for you. Season tickets for leafs are an unbeatable investment, selling up to 76 games of Jays tickets x 2 seats sounds like a lot of work and stress. Good news is those are desirable seats, 2nd deck first 5 rows are my favourite between either base. Good luck!
  8. There are way too many factors that come in to play to generalize it that way though, of course most specifically would be the two teams playing, the depth of those teams, and the starters of those games. If all things are equal the home team would probably have the edge because historically teams have better home records than away.
  9. Yankees wouldn't want to waste a start either and it's their call prior to game time if they want to cancel it based on field conditions. After that it's out of their hands as well.
  10. This. It's September and if you're not in the playoff picture you're barely a footnote at this point in the season. Individual performances are evaluated afterward, might have been different if Washington tightened things with the Mets this week.
  11. Well I don't know but I'm guessing they aim for early Friday if weather permits. With rain scheduled Saturday they probably want flexibility with that afternoon game to move it later if needed. At this time Sunday is just rain free but having a double header on the last day of a series would be the worst case scenario for the Yankees who begin a series on Monday with the Rays in Florida. We have an off day Monday so double header Sunday would actually be ideal for us.
  12. Yea by the looks of the forecast doubtful there is a game tonight.
  13. Yea this is what I saw. He basically yelled to the bench to help out or he was about to lose his s*** and the ump ejected him.
  14. It seemed to the broadcasters that he asked for time on that K pitch and wasn't given it either and got tossed after telling his manager. Then he lost his s***. His helmet smash is almost at Lawrie's level but in a smarter direction.
  15. Man we just got raped before going in to Yankee Stadium.
  16. Must have had FYSMC above Boston Red Sox unless that's glare.
  17. Indeed, he's also on pace for his 3rd straight 158 game season
  18. I just shoot off fireworks when we win.
  19. Thought I posted in the wrong thread so I deleted it, thanks for quoting it haha.
  20. They don't predict .600+ win % for anyone.
  21. This board during a tie http://www.reactiongifs.com/r/pcpt.gif
  22. Definitely. I didn't really appreciate it at the start but later on had to binge watch all those reruns daily.
