Man this team has found some f***ed up ways to injure themselves the past few years.
Saunders with sprinkler
Izturis dugout stairs
Stroman fielding a bunt in practice
Pillar with his superman sneeze
Martin's fake sauna injury that likely involved hookers & whisky
True but even acquiring just SP depth for the minors would move Hutch to he SP role and cross fingers no one breaks a leg for 2 months. They should be more concerned with Estrada's back issues over moving Sanchez to the pen but that's just me. I think they need added depth regardless.
I don't know the details of his contract but if he's DFA'd and released he's a free agent. He doesn't have to sign with anyone and NY would be on the hook for any guaranteed money of the contract and if he signs with another team that's just deducted what's owed to him, so he's not making extra $ or anything. Hence why I figured he'd just retire and collect.
Do you really think if games were 10 minutes shorter we'd see growth in attendance or TV viewers? How about forcing west coast games to start at 6pm local time instead of 7 when hosting east coast teams and cater to the global viewership. Also, they should never be allowed night games on weekends.
wtf.. that's the dumbest thing I've ever read. This isn't the NHL.
If players stayed in the box after each pitch like they are suppose to it'd easily shave time off. What happened to that rule?
If this team was a .460 team and not a .560 team then yes... but we are about to bolster our line up down the home stretch with an already >80% odds of being a postseason team. He is a monster boost to this line up.
So I watched the first 7 innings but the soccer fields have no reception. Just caught up, JD and EE are monsters and Brett Cecil has hit a brick wall.
You suck Baltimore. Boom boom
