    $275 USD? The problem is stubhub caters to the US market. They are listed at face value in USD in most cases, throw in the high stubhub feees and the conversion and it gets pricey.

    It's become a joke. I can understand if you bought tickets and then can't make an event but go to your group of friends first like everyone did years ago, they'd appreciate it a lot more and you won't be out any money. win win.

    Yea he gets in the game when we're up 10-1 I guess lol. You're right though, he's been going to Navarro before Smoak even in September I think he was doing that.

    I'd love to drop Smoak, really would. I mean, down by a run in the 9th with Barney coming to the plate vs RHP is about the only scenario he gets in the game. Whereas I feel like there are more opportunities for Pompey to be used late in the game to replace just about anyone on base with below average speed such as Edwin/Bautista/Tulo/Navarro/etc and the difference between Smoak producing vs Barney is negligible at best right now anyway. I'd be just as comfortable with Barney bunting a runner over < 2outs vs Smoak for the hail mary bomb. Also, Bautista can be used as the back up 1B as he's played a handful of games there every year and has corner infield experience.

    Your link to a student's Undergrad research paper doesn't support your POV in anyway... the research was to find out if a hot in September has a better chance of winning the WS... not if they have the most regular season wins. The paper concluded that teams with higher winning % against the top teams in the league have a higher chance of winning the WS. There is zero mention of 'virtual coin flips' or everyone has some sort of equal chance to win. So why are you using it to support your illogical POV?

    Yea, cost of living is absurd in pretty much every area of the GTA. I grew up in Aurora and when I was ready to buy about 10 years ago I realized I lived in a super rich town my whole life and decided not to live in a backyard shed.

    We're in the smartphone era, probably a wise choice to prevent the inevitable.

    You'd also have to assume number 1 (which should be combined with 3 btw if you have an agent with half a brain) takes up like 90% of their decision. The rest might factor in more depending on the type of player they are, if they have kids in school or not married, etc.

    It's crazy that both teams are on 6 game winning streaks going in to the ALCS. This week is going to go by painfully slow.
