    Our lack of lefty relief certainly got exposed. We will have holes to fill in starting rotation and if one of those gets filled with Osuna, we either need a new closer or Cecil with his spot getting filled. Bautista and Encarnacion should be on the roster until at least the trade deadline. If we have no chance at the playoffs then they should be dealt for prospects. I'd love to see a new manager but I see Gibbons sticking around until at least May but if the wheels come off, a replacement has to be considered.

    Whether tomorrow's game is the last one or not, I have to give props to the Jays and AA in particular for making an exciting October for the first time in 22 years. If someone with a time-machine wants to go back to July and tell me that we would be down 3-1 against the Royals in the ALCS you'd get to see me jump for f***ing joy. Playoff experience is something that this team desperately needed. Hopefully, our lineup will be a good draw for a couple of free agent arms that we are obviously in need of.

    It is pretty simple. We lose Cecil with roster restrictions in place and Gibbons real Achilles heal gets exposed: Complete inability to manage the bullpen. He has an offense that only requires him to write down the names of his marquee players at the beginning of the game with the only real decision making limited to cola vs. smoak. Perhaps his only real true responsibility, subbing out pitchers at the right moment, he utterly sucks at. He is equally bad at knowing who to put on the mound.

    So if it turns out that Gibbons knew at the beginning of the game that Loup is out tomorrow, how awful does bringing Lowe in instead of a position player look.

    Only 2 relievers sucks more... of course if it is the last game of the year it doesnt really matter how many innings osuna and sanchez pitch

    This is the problem when you consistently rely on the same 2-3 relievers. Gibby just has horrible pen management the last few years and I dont think it is going to change
