  1. I'll put OEL, Mark Stone, Adam Henrique, Tomas Hertl and all of my prospects/picks on the block (incl. Brayden Point, Nick Ritchie, Mat Barzal). Looking for a top flight forward or a high dispersal pick.
  2. I'm keen to keep it going
  3. Nice list. Like the aggressive ranks on Forrest Whitley and Michel Baez. That said, I really don't understand Longenhagen's love for Corey Ray. 22 y/o (almost 23) in A-ball with a 92 wRC+ and a 31% K-rate seems really poor for a #27 ranked prospect. Obviously, I'm stat-scouting and not considering speed/defence. Is that really a difference maker?
  4. Morales will always underperform his xStats though, on account of his lack of speed and pull-heavy profile leading to defensive shifts, right? Honest question.
  5. Fangraphs released the midseason KATOH and KATOH+ top 100 today. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/katohs-midseason-2017-top-100-lists/ KATOH+ (incorporates BA's midseason list) Vlad Jr - 1 Bo - 23 KATOH Vlad Jr - 3 Bo - 19 Danny Jansen - 83
  6. Callis tweeted earlier today that it's 100% that Greene signs before 5pm. He'd be dumb to turn down the $7M+ offer he's probably getting.
  7. BA released their mid season top 100 today. http://www.baseballamerica.com/minors/2017-midseason-top-100-prospects-july-7/#f6I1EkpmvaC6oBLf.97 Vlad Jr - 2 (!) Alford - 38 Bo - 44 Lourdes - 89

I feel like if they didn't have the deal in place, NYI would have just exposed Pelech and Pulock and protected a bunch of their forwards. Vegas getting De Haan + #15 instead of Ryan Pulock is a pretty good deal.
  9. Pretty sure it's Devenski. Guy's a stud.

The Leafs are in the Metro side of the bracket because they finished as a WC team. They got rid of re-seeding with this new (dumb) divisional format.

  12. Congrats, Spank. Well deserved, buddy!
  13. He's been a positive outfielder the last two years and hit well (albeit SSS) when he moved out of the Oakland black hole. Good plate discipline, can hit a bit and a good OF - such a good 4OF.
  14. Nice matchup, King. Good luck this week, Spanky!

They didn't send anyone into the box at the start of penalty, with the plan of adding someone at the first whistle (apparently this is legal on a 5+game penalty). Since there weren't any whistles, they were handcuffed until the subsequent stoppage. Really dumb coaching - they could have easily sent a guy like Marner or JVR who wouldn't have been on the PK at all.
  16. Should come down to the wire. A couple PPGs would be nice.
  17. I doubt that Holtby has another stinker. I'm in tough! Good luck!
  18. Lol definitely. Wennberg at 48 worked out well for me too.
  19. I will take offers on Thornton, Jagr & Mason. Prefer NHL players to prospects/picks.
  20. Nice work - this is a great list! Where did Almora end up?
  21. Good call - forgot about Groome. He'll be there...
  22. Is Senzel the only 2016 draftee in Law's top 20 then? Also suprised that Tyler O'Neill doesn't crack his top 100 (unless he's somehow ranked him top 20)

I think they're definitely a top 8 team in the east right now. One of the hockey stats writers Dom Luszczyszyn has a model that's giving them a ~60% chance of making the playoffs, so it's for sure possible.
  24. Called up Provorov
  25. Yup - this is Purchasing Power Parity for those who are interested https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purchasing_power_parity
