  1. I’m at Winterfest and can confirm that Vlad Jr has some thick, strong wrists. Tabby’ll have a field day.
  2. Fine, definitely more power but still won’t do much to improve one of the worst offences in baseball.
  3. Ugh, not a big fan. He’s essentially Pillar with the bat, maybe a little more power.
  4. I’m sure he’ll have more advantageous options to rebuild value than facing the Yanks and Red Sox offences. We’ll likely never benefit from pitchers looking to rebuild value unless we massively overpay.
  5. Hmmm.......I heard it was Estrada and his wife found out during that horrible stretch he had in the middle of the year.
  6. I’d take a shot at Lance Lynn. I think there’s a lot of upside there.
  7. Any thoughts on Lance Lynn?
  8. Who was that Fishercats (?) reporter who tweeted, in no uncertain wording, that the Jays were the winning bid?
  9. Over/under 3000 hits and 500 home runs?
  10. Yeah, same here honestly. I was just thinking someone needed to be the voice of reason. Vladdy 2018.
  11. I think we need to temper expectations a bit on Vlad. We're already putting him as a first ballot HOF before he even sees an at bat at AA. Amazing talent, for sure, let's just not set up ourselves for Travis Snider disappointment.
  12. Great, Buck and Tabby found their new JO material for the next 10 years in Devers.
  13. Man, I'd love for Stanton to become a Jay but I can't see it happening. With the impending sale of the Marlins I don't know why new ownership would want to get rid of a cornerstone/franchise guy. And, even if they wanted to for salary purposes, they'd demand a haul of young cost controlled talent - starting with Vladdy/Bichette/Stroman/etc. At that point it's counterproductive for the team moving forward.
  14. I kinda get the feeling that we'll see Chris Rowley on Wednesday, with the recent Sportsnet feature on him and his decent results in AAA. I don't think he's on the 40 man but there are a number of names on there that could be bumped with no consequence.
  15. Not a chance for Stanton. You'd have to empty the farm, and that's just not going to happen with this FO. Not to mention it would be a counterproductive move.
  16. Well known, I'm sure, but Osuna's last 6 outs have been via the K.
  17. He was pinch hit for last game as well I believe. Hopefully he's not dealing with an injury of some sort.
  18. Wow, that blonde was by far the most entertaining part of this game. My god.....
  19. That BABIP though........
  20. Man, you can tell there's something more than a bruise. I'd be very surprised if it's not broken.
  21. .392 Bradley Jones was promoted to Dunedin by the way.
  22. Jesus, Bichette already 2 for 2 tonight and hitting .385 on the season. Vladdy's also 2 for 2 but only hitting a paltry .335.
  23. Now hitting a ridiculous .377. How long before he, Vladdy, and even Bradley Jones, get moved up? They need more of a challenge, clearly.
  24. Bichette and Vlad show no signs of slowing down and continue to tear up the league. At this point, when does it start to become detrimental to not have them challenged more a level higher? Promotions in mid-late June?
  25. Still no word as to how this happened? He was fine playing last night......some kind of freak injury/fall afterwards?
