    There must be a trade or trades in the works. I'd love to see Gurriel remain and Grich be the odd man out but Gurriel probably holds a lot more trade value. I'd guess that Teo is getting full time ABs at DH, which also leaves Tellez pretty much out of the mix. Unfortunate, because I think he would put up a very good stat line if given the opportunity. The next week should be a flurry of activity. This lineup though......man.

    The Jays need a Mel Queen to take Pearson all the way down and rebuild him from scratch.

    And why would we allow him to walk after year 2 after getting the benefit of the heavily front loaded contract to go get more elsewhere? That’s the whole point of front loading, so you have financial flexibility in the later years.

    With the lost season I don’t think Groshans is a big enough prospect, even in a package, to bring in a top of the rotation type starter. See what Groshans turns into.
