Anyone who expected better from Estrada as a SP is delusional, AA included. He's doing what all numbers and trends suggested he would do. Norris had better figure s*** out in AAA, and do so quickly.

A month into the season and we have an outfield of Collabello, Pillar and Carrera in addition to an infield featuring Diaz/Goins. Yikes. Agreed on wishing Pompey was given more rope to sort things out. With that said, I think it was move based more on body language and the mental approach more than it was results.

+1 for Saunders to the DL. He had a really visible hitch to his run that last game in Cleveland. Not sure how Collabello is the best choice to replace the potential loss of Saunders.....but I'm not AA.

Did anyone hear Machado's locker room comments after the game? He said, and I'm paraphrasing...."First time in history that it's ever happened and it was really cool to have the chance to be a part of it." Does he have any clue as to why they played in an empty house?

Man, I've gotta stop checking out those posts on Orioles Hangout. The stupidity is astounding. In the span of a week Jose has two pitches thrown behind his head and both were completely unintentional. Kevin Barker was just on 590 and I'm pretty sure I heard him say (paraphrasing) that although Miguel Castro throws hard his stuff is as straight as an arrow and he falls behind a lot. Reminder...he gets paid for this in depth analysis.

When (if) Saunders is ready to come back how do you even entertain the thought of removing Pillar from LF? Offence will be hot and cold but man, that defence is too good to sit on the bench.

It's not Gibby's fault that Loup and Cecil couldn't get the job done. You can only blame Gibby if he runs them out there for the first month giving them opportunity after opportunity to turn it around while the team is blowing saves. Overreaction over one game? Yep.
