  1. Crazy, my wife said she "looks weird" too. It has just as much to do with her personality. And, she's a spinner.
  2. Absolutely. Email your concerns to umpires@mlbyankees.com
  3. Every f***ing close call always goes against us here. Every f***ing one.
  4. Wow. Related/unrelated but what do you think it will take to see umpire reform in the game? They affect a game way more than they ever should and I have to believe that every team would welcome change.
  5. Why even bother getting Schultz up now? 75 pitches and a 6 run lead. Let him run with it.
  6. Does anyone feel just a little bit bad for the Twins pitchers this series? We're relentless and they just have no chance of holding us down.
  7. Who's this Evanka chick and what did they do with the far superior Jackie Redmond?
  8. Was referring more to the winning percentage when Romero was something like 8-1 with horrible peripherals. That said, Hutch's command is just as bad as Romero's was that year.
  9. Hutch is 10-2 guys. He's 2012 Romero.
  10. This'll be Hutch's last start I think. I'd love to see Sanchez take the spot but realistically there's little chance that happens. At this point I'd be willing to give Wolf (Hendricks first) a shot. Can't be worse than Hutch, right?
  11. Yep, I'll give Hutch the benefit of the BAPIP excuse on that one.
  12. I'm confident that AA won't let this continue with Hutch. Can't put all your eggs in the basket for this year and then pin any hopes on a starter that can't get through 5. I don't know what that something is but it's coming.
  13. Guys, Hutch's results are nothing more than a product of bad luck and a high BABIP. He has actually been our best starter all year. It'll even out by the end of the year.
  14. IF, and that's a big if, Sanchez threw intentionally at Escobar he would have been better off head hunting and making the most of that ******** suspension. Disclaimer - in no way am I condoning intentionally creating a situation that could cause serious injury, it's more of a statement of disbelief at the broken system that allows this to happen and umpires to go without any accountability.
  15. "He can't take it," Volquez said of Donaldson. "I don't know why. He hit a lot of homers in the first couple of games and he was pimping everything he does. Somebody hits you, you've got to take it, because you're pimping everything you do." Yup, no intent here whatsoever.
  16. Once again, the predominant sentiment here is not outrage over the Sanchez suspension, it's the lack of any discipline whatsoever for the Royals. It's ludicrous that they're walking away the victims.
  17. Guys, obviously our Jays bias has led us to look at this situation incorrectly. These suspensions prove that the Jays were in fact the headhunting aggressors in this situation. The Royals were simply innocent bystanders and lucky enough to escape the game without injury.
  18. So based on this, the Jays were the instigators and the aggressors in this ridiculousness. Got it.
  19. Sorry, it was NorthOf49's.
  20. "Only dangerous actions that carry obvious intent are punished. Only Sanchez's action was obviously intentional, hence he is suspended. I don't really have a problem with this. The Royals are good at hiding their intentions and so they get away with stuff." Would Volquez's post game comments not clearly define obvious intent? And Ventura's comments promising that harm would come Bautista's way during their next meeting?
