    Hmm that is interesting. Yeah the area code is probably the way they do it. Makes sense if you sell all these Americans with tickets. I don't think they would categorize the local sellers and Kijiji people as commercial resale.

    As a business you always want to increase your prices year over year to created an expectation that the prices will increase because of factors like inflation building costs etc.. Unless they slash payroll they aren't going to keep prices the same. Paul Beeston was a pretty bad businessman lol.

    I feel like Pearce is someone who could benefit from a swing change like others have done. He really has the chop wood swing path. But he's at that age where he's in his last few years anyway.

    Toronto has a ton of people who are just average joes that scalp tickets online on places like Kijiji etc.. I don't think the Blue Jays care too much about those people not renewing their tickets tbh. Like I mentioned before one of the biggest reasons why the secondary market is so low because there are just too many tickets out there. Will be interesting if the Blue Jays cut off brokers this offseason. Honestly I hope people don't renew their tickets and that I'll have a chance to upgrade mine lol. While I might lose a few $ in 2018 and maybe 2019 selling my extras when the Blue Jays get good again all the season tickets will once again be scooped up and then the seat locations will suck.

    Tickets wise I'd say 21-25K but I'm really just guessing. While you hear a lot of people in the online community talking about not renewing their season tickets that is a really small % of the Season Ticket base. I think it goes down but not to the extent some people are talking about.

    I don't think 1/3 of the STH go away in one offseason because of prices being raised 7-12%. People will want to hold on to their tickets because once the Jays become good again its going to be the hottest ticket in town once again.

    Currency thing was always a lame excuse. They make a ton of money in USD so the effect it had wasn't nearly as much as people would think if they just looked at player salaries. Obviously its a factor but I think it was blown out of proportion. However if you look at the prices for infield seats and compare them around the league its actually still pretty cheap. I do agree the perks have sucked this year and that is disappointing given how there are so many things they could do that they just don't or try to make you pay for it with those stupid points things. If you are going to increase prices you should at least not take away a lot of the benefits which they did. And to advertise the autograph session as a perk and then say there is a lottery for it where you have to pay with points.. Kind of a slap in the face.

    Exactly Cubs and Astros did well and look at the Mets. f*** even the Astros screwed up by taking Appel over Bryant, could you imagine that team with Bryant on the roster...

    That's not even that much of an increase. When you factor minimum wage going up the amount they are saying then that increases their costs a ton and it's going to come out of someone's pocket.. Like I said before they actually make more money selling single game tickets vs season ticket holders. And now that the number is so big they've decreased s lot of perks so perhaps with a lower number they will bring some of them back.

    Cocaine use is up everywhere. Even in Toronto its everywhere now and you go out on a Friday or Saturday and you're probably bumping into someone who has it. NHL players its probably even higher.

    The funny thing is the reality is Jays players playing well thus making their value go up>>>the value between a 5-10 pick and a 15-20 pick. Yet you hear people say its better if they lose.

    It seemed like he hit a lot of groundballs that just found holes. And since he's not good defensively and can't play CF he has to hit really well to be a 4th OF.

    Even though they've won 4 in a row I don't think they've really been playing that good baseball. The As are s*** and could have split the series if their bullpen wasn't so bad.

    Lol went there a few years ago and I couldn't believe how depressing it was. This huge Tiger had like a 15x25 concrete cell to walk around in. Pretty sure the Tiger from that movie was there too IIRC. The Bronx Zoo on the other hand is amazing. Tons of room and you would have no idea you were in NYC by walking around there.

    I know what you mean but I think with Estrada its not about being figured out but rather he just isn't healthy and his command hasn't been good. The terrible defense has had the biggest impact on why his numbers aren't as good as the last 2 years.

    Does age even correlate that much with performance for pitchers? I feel like its more about the stuff. A 24 year old can see an uptick in velo at AA and all of a sudden be a prospect while a 19 year old may have the command to get single A hitters out but doesn't have the stuff to get out more advanced guys.
