I don't think they would be a legit contender. The perimiter defense is so bad and holding them back. Lowry, Lou and GV are terrible at not letting their guy drive by them.

Might as well just concede the game and give these guys a rest. Team looks dead. I dunno how hard they are going in practice but might want to lay off the gas a bit.

Devlin has gone full homer this season. I actually liked him in the past but its getting really annoying.

Is it just me or does Handsborough look to get fouled when he has a layup instead of actually trying to score the bucket? Seems like he waits for contact all the time.

Buffalo is -540 in scoring chances while Arizona is -117. Scoring chances has the strongest correlation with goals from what I've seen and should make the avg shot distance meaningless. http://war-on-ice.com/teamtable.html

Obviously this is just 5v5 but to already be the most out-shot team at Evens at game 51 tells me its going to be pretty damn hard to be a worse team than that.

I have a hard time believing the results if Buffalo isn't last. Buffalo has been the worst team in the analytic ERA and it isn't even close. Definitely interesting though.

I'm pretty sure this is what is being done anyway. Almost all of the FA contracts over 5 years have been terrible anyways. If the deal makes sense they are going to do it. -

if they didn't have Trout the franchise would be awful.

If the team takes Cleveland to 6 or 7 games in the first round and loses I don't see it being much of a detriment to landing a FA compared if they beat the Bucks in the first round by 5 games then lose to the Hawks in 4 or 5. Edit: Getting a legit coach would have much more power with FA no matter what round this team gets to.

His career TS% is .524 which is below average. If he is a "scorer" and he doesn't score above an average rate of efficiency thats not good news.

Lowry and Amir's health is much more important to the team's success in the playoffs than who their opponent is. Also this team has a very small chance of advancing past the 2nd round and unless a miracle happens won't be going anywhere anyway.

I meant this game but I think he's really overrated and his value should come in a trade. Once he gets his new contract he will be a negative asset so they are better off trading him this offseason.
