    Maybe if Longoria gets hurt and the Rays start off slow then sell off a bunch of players in early June they get under 77 wins. I mean its certainly possible but I think you are better off on betting the over. I still think the Padres are the number 1 bet for the Under.

    I'm fine with the complaining about Rogers. When you account for market size and how much money Rogers makes from the Blue Jays its valid to say their payroll can be higher. Rogers absolutely deserves blame for last seasons mess at the deadline. Even if they have an above average payroll you don't just cut off the spending when the team finally has a chance to make the playoffs especially when 3-4 million would of made a big difference. And after the mess that Edward Rogers made this offseason its a valid argument Rogers is a bad owner. If the Blue Jays had an independent owner I think it is fair to say the club's payroll would be higher. The TV contract alone is probably worth close to 100 million on the open market with Rogers and Bell bidding.

    Guy is a stud. Even reps Toronto wearing a Raps hat. If he can stay healthy ,which as a pitcher might be difficult, I can see him being Toronto's favourite athlete.

    One thing about over/under bets to take into consideration is you don't want to bet the over on teams who aren't going to win many games unless you think its a lock. Bad teams can trade their good players mid season making them even worse for the rest of the season causing their projected win total to fall.

    Lavine is one of the best dunkers, not sure he is going to be a good basketball player though. He's still very young but I haven't liked his game so far.

    I edited the link into the post. Yeah I think the Padres are my top choice for the under. Their OF defense would be awful in any park, let alone playing in one of the largest in the Majors.

    Even with Chandler the team isn't going to ECF. I think you are better off using the cap space this summer.

    I don't think that trade really moves the needle and that is what the goal should be with this group when making a trade. The bench really isn't the problem so making a trade to improve the bench seems kind of a waste. This team isn't going to lose in the playoffs because of their bench but rather their starters. Hickson isn't better than the 3 bigs we have right now so it seems like a lot to give up for Chandler. Also Chandler hasn't been good the last 2 years so there is a lot of risk.

    I am actually pretty surprised that the Raps shoot the 7th least amount of 2 point shots between 16 feet and the 3 point line. 14.8% of their shots while NBA average is 17.6%. WSH by comparison shoots 23.4% of their shots in that area, 2nd highest in the league.
