  1. I would keep the same rotation as you but really hate your pen. Cecil should be closer. Jenkins should not be on the team.
  2. Chip Kelly doing work... Gets Demarco Murray who isn't much of a downgrade from McCoy and then gets Alonso a stud LB on top of that.
  3. Yeah but how many people stream the games? Maybe 20,000 at the absolute most?
  4. Hemsky is available for someone looking for a bounceback year. Won't take much to get him. Also Svedberg is still available for anyone looking for a young goalie with upside.
  5. meh might make a difference of 20,000. Thing about the Jays is they are truly a national team and have done a great job marketing the franchise that way. Barely anyone gives a s*** about the Raptors outside of Toronto/GTA.
  6. Scott Carson throws darts on a board.
  7. Raps TV ratings are awful. Jays ST game even beat them by a good margin. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/eh-game/the-great-canadian-ratings-report--curling-sweeps-aside-the-maple-leafs-175355663.html
  8. I would agree but what does this have to do with my post? lol
  9. This could be thread worthy but this was a really good article about a new pitching metric that tries to account for everything. You may ask who was the Jays best Starting pitcher by this metric? The answer, Drew Hutchison. Cecil was also 35th best in all of baseball last year. http://www.hardballtimes.com/fip-in-context/
  10. Seeing how young Stroman is and how hard he trains I think he can come back later this season. Obviously the Jays are going to say he is out for the rest of the season to not create false optimism and pressure on the player. If the Jays are in the race you hope he can come back late in September. Sucks it was his left leg instead of his right though especially with the amount of force he uses landing on the plant leg.
  11. Thats one trade I'd like to have back. At the time I had too many players and since I had so many Ottawa players I felt it was best to trade one of them. As soon asI traded Stone he has been like a PPG since.
  12. Like the trade for Goldbull. But maybe thats because I am a big Mark Stone fan.
  13. http://m.mlb.com/video/v43939783/must-c-consecutive-soler-baez-and-bryant-go-yard/?cid=mlb and they were all massive bombs too.
  14. Id put Sanchez and Norris in the rotation and Estrada in the pen. I would not bring Castro or Osuna up and instead just have Sanchez's spot be taken by one of the many pen guys. I don't think the pen will be that bad. Estrada was very good as a reliever and if Cecil is healthy he should be just fine. Also Delabar has looked good FWIW and some other guys have been pretty good in brief stints as well. Starting depth is really bad though. Hope Johhan becomes something
  15. Im willing to bet Navarro gets a lot of DH ABs if EE starts the season on the DL. He isn't the best option but it will stop the whining which you hope isn't a distraction to the team.
  16. On one hand its ST so its obviously precautionary but on the other hand back injuries usually are never good. Really hope its nothing but its getting more clear that EE probably should not be signed long term after his club option is picked up. Back issues always seem chronic.
  17. Scott Brooks is a terrible coach...?
  18. IF OKC trades Durant that would be the ultimate stupid move. Team has so much talent in a few players yet fills the roster out with scrubs and employs an awful coach. Franchise should have had a couple rings by now.
  19. Yeah its really hard to get the right weight/spin on the rocks. I remember having a HS field trip to the curling arena once.
  20. Well yeah I wouldn't expect there to be many curlers in the cities like brampton and Toronto. Make your way out a little bit to places like Stouffville, Oshawa and Cobourg and you will find curling. Lots of curling in Ontario. It is a lot of older folks who like to drink I will say that. Personally I only ever watch it when Canada is in the Olympics but I don't have anything against the sport. Its included in the MLS, Cricket, Darts group for me.
  21. Couple comments from Kiley in the comment section that will want to make you get out your tissues and lube: Mike Green says: March 9, 2015 at 10:46 am Medium risk for Hoffman? I guess there’s a difference of opinion about expectations following TJ (see the recent Fleisig article on techgraphs). Kiley McDaniel says: March 9, 2015 at 2:54 pm He’s demonstrated 70 FV ability, so I think it’s only medium risk that he’s a 55 FV.. CrazyPants says: March 9, 2015 at 11:16 am You really think there are 10 systems better than this one?! They are absolutely loaded with arms. I don’t think anyone has the arms arsenal they have (Nats and Mets maybe closest). They are a little behind the curve in position prospects perhaps. That might be the only thing keeping them on the fringe of the top ten. maybe. Kiley McDaniel says: March 9, 2015 at 2:56 pm I was intentionally vague there since I haven’t stacked up the systems yet. I would bet they are top 10, but I think I put them 11th on a first pass, though the list changed a good bit since then.
  22. Lol guy shot himself in the foot for his next contract. Who wants to sign a guy long term that only wants to play for 5 more years.
