  1. Good thing I drafted him last night!
  2. Granderson has been pretty good. Nice to have a LH hitter in the lineup other than Smoak.
  3. Justin Turner and EE didn't get paid that much relatively speaking.
  4. f***ing Rogers too cheap to televise Spring Training games. Since they own SN its a hell of a lot easier for them to do it than the other clubs too.
  5. I'll take Josh Tomlin. Abom up next.
  6. Pretty damn good minor league deal. Gives up a lot of walks and homers but can strike guys out. Jays bullpen looks pretty thin after the first few guys so should have a good shot to make the team.
  7. Keepers Lucroy Panik Suarez Story Ozuna Jones Kinsler Granderson Zimmer Harrison Kluber Nicasio Stras Kershaw Rodriguez Kimbrel Strop Barnes Leone Happ Biagini Prospect Cuts Valera
  8. He literally said it himself.
  9. Sounds like he might not be ready for opening day. Ugh
  10. google and draft and there are busts everywhere. Look at Mark Appel and Brady Aiken..
  11. Officiating was terrible but Raptors with some stupid plays. CJ Miles not fouling at the end of the 4th and then Derozan taking the 2 instead of passing out for a wide open 3.
  12. Why the hell did he round if he was soft tossing the ball to himself.
  13. Wow Richard Deitsch is a fantastic get for them.
  14. Better to have him playing 4-5 times a week than not at all. For peak performance you shouldn't be playing more than 5 times a week anyway.
  15. Is that you, Mike Wilner?
  16. Donaldson is a lot better than Turner. I agree he isn't going to get a 6 or 7 year deal but he's at least going to get 100 Million. He's been the best player outside of Trout the last 5 years.
  17. I think for the early games in the year there will definitely be people rather watching the Raps and Leafs. But from like June on there is no other sports besides TFC which play like 2 games/month so there really isn't much else to do instead. I know I have a lot of friends that aren't really even baseball fans but want to go to games during the summer so I can't see attendance dropping too much.
  18. If they could get a Paul George or Giannis you move anyone.
  19. Aren't the Rays PETCOA projections always higher than what they end up. The Jays pitching is pretty bad I'll admit. That bullpen outside Osuna looks like steaming garbage. Good thing is there are still pitchers on the market.
  20. Thing that those kind of odds and point differential in general don't account for is that the Raptors strength is how deep their roster is with good players in the 7-11 slots in the rotation. So while the Raps bench kills opponents other benches come playoff time it will be different because other teams will only have 8 man rotations and playing their stars 40+min.
  21. Lebron makes any team incredibly dangerous on offence but that team has very real defensive issues that I don't see just magically getting better. Its one thing to not be trying but even with full effort they aren't even going to be average. Key for Raptors will be can the young players step up and knock down open shots. Delon, FVV and OG are going to get a ton of open looks with teams focuses on Derozan/Lowry. If they can knock down 3s the Raptors should be fine, if they don't there could be a few issues.
  22. Have a Restricted Free Agency like the NBA and NHL after say 4 years would be interesting. A player is free to sign with any team but the team who owns that player can match the contract or let him walk and receive compensation in the form of draft picks. The higher the contract, the more a team has to give up in compensation.
