  1. I'll take the under on 15 starts let alone 20.
  2. I would start him against the Red Sox. Blue Jays turf is slower than the Rays one and TB will put more LHH in the lineup. Also Happ is less likely to give up a HR at the Trop than RC. Edit: Didn't realize the Dickey effect. Makes more sense now as he would get the advantage in future starts.
  3. I'd be willing to share MLB.TV with someone for half the costs.
  4. The way I would do it is have a much shorter leash on all non-Stroman starters. I would think about always saving 1 of Osuna, Cecil and Storen each night so you don't have to have those guys pitch as many back to back games. Floyd could be a really good reliever.
  5. Probably because Montreal is really close to Boston so they expect more fans to come. Tons of Red Sox fans in Eastern Canada too.
  6. Alford at 79 seems really low. He's not too far off from Zimmer who is in the 20s. Close to the same numbers in A ball last year and Alford is younger.
  7. I'm really interested to see how Floyd pitches in the pen and how the blue jays use him. I really like the look of the pen having Floyd, Biagini (assuming he makes it) and Chavez all being able to throw multiple innings.
  8. Board-Broken. I'm actually pretty excited for this. Funny that Stroman was the first person to tweet it out before any of the insiders.
  9. Yeah I ordered the MVP edition as well.
  10. Lol Martin is the only catcher in the org. that can throw to 2nd apparently. Jeez that was horrible.
  11. Its weird because the Lightning are actually the number 1 team there. I find atmosphere in the ballpark is dependent on the team mostly. At the beginning of the season this year Toronto fans were pretty loud even with how few were there. In years past the team was bad so fans really had no reason to cheer lol.
  12. Based on the youtube videos it still looks like how it was last year. One thing I wish they would incorporate into the game is catcher framing.
  13. I'd say the stadium in Tampa is in a much worse location. Olympic Stadium is only like 10 KM outside downtown Montreal and there is a subway stop right outside the stadium.
  14. If he got his strikeout rate under 10% its just as good as his walk rate going up 1 or 2%.
  15. After going to Tampa and the clearwater area (close to St. Petersburg) I realized why no one goes to games. Not only is the stadium a complete dump but its in such a difficult place to get to. No public transportation and traffic is just as bad as Toronto. If they get a new stadium I think baseball will be successful there.
  16. Both worked out with Tewksbarry in the offseason too!
  17. Yeah thats Floyd's career numbers around 1500 PA for each so quite a large sample. League average was taken in 2012 I believe. Found the numbers in a FG article.
  18. Storen Cecil Osuna Floyd Biagini LOOGY Chavez
  19. Tony Sanchez looks horrible behind the plate.
  20. Funny that Sanchez is more valuable than Norris right now. Who would have guessed that coming into 2015.
  21. Yeah that discussion blew up into flames. It seems most of the board even the very anayltic crowd would be fine with starting Sanchez. Even if a trade seems like the smartest thing to do value wise I doubt the FO will actually do it unless it was like a Shelby Miller you can't refuse trade.
  22. He's not even that bad of a defender. He's lost a step for sure but still is gets great reads off the bat, if his arm is healthy he can be average in RF.
