  1. Yeah exactly. Wouldn't it be fastball-changeup though? Since coors makes breaking balls not break as much? I think they should definitely have an emphasis of having good defensive OFers. Offensively you would try to target flyball hitters and guys who don't strike out much.
  2. I don't. If anything the farm has gone down in stock over the last year. Sure its nice to see some low Minors pitchers looking good but thats overshadowed by Alford's terrible season. Greene hasn't been good either and I know he isn't a prospect but Pompey has had a rough season as well. When your consensus top 3 prospects all have bad years its tough to move ahead on these lists.
  3. Biggest problem has been Colorado not taking advantage of their home ballpark if anything.
  4. So where does everyone think KD ends up? I'll say the Warriors.
  5. I'll take Rasmus Asplund
  6. yes. why wouldn't they? Ballpark is beautiful and they have demonstrated they have a great market if the team is competitive. I don't think they win anything until they replace the current FO though.
  7. I'd rather Martin stay healthy. At least let Thole start and if you need Martin to PH later in the game you think about doing it. I don't think you realize how taxing catching is.
  8. Girodo has a career 1.35 FIP in the minors and has been great vs LHH in the majors this year. Loup's velo is down but he'd still be good vs Lefties. Who's to say Morales velo won't be down either coming back from a dead arm. His career numbers vs Lefties aren't even good.
  9. Girado and Loup are both better if we are talking strictly a LOOGY.
  10. I never realized he was that f***ing tall
  11. Why is Morales all of a sudden a lock to be in the pen? He's not good....
  12. An 85-88 win season has a good chance to make the playoffs with the new wildcard this year unlike years past. Jays have a pretty favourable schedule in July with a ton of home games so lets not start the "sell posts" when they are half a game out of a playoff spot.
  13. Perhaps I shouldn't have grouped that all as one. Its one hell of an accomplishment to have the record they do and that rotation.
  14. You could do that with a lot of teams though. Indians with Brantley, Gomes, Carrasco... Orioles with their pitching staff... All teams have players play below expectations. Yet all teams have guys player better than expected and the Jays with Saunders, Sanchez, Barney/Carrera have had that as well.
  15. Martin playing through the neck injury cost him some production I'd say. If the Jays had a better backup he probably went on the DL and his numbers look a lot better.
  16. lol when I looked at the score I thought I saw a 1 instead of 11. In that case... I don't even know what to say haha. Man
  17. Yeah I guess so but I still think those players have been better than you made it sound lol.
  18. Im glad the Nats lost otherwise that would have been a crushing defeat.
  19. I wouldn't say they've received nothing. Stroman is on pace to be an around 3 WAR starter which is right around where he was projected to be. Just because he's been really bad this last stretch doesn't change how good he was earlier in the season much like Martin and Tulo. All teams have performance vary from player to player
  20. Please tell me this isn't the same radio host that said there was a decent chance Lebron would come to the Raptors.
  21. JD with a rare selfish AB. Got himself out on that one.
