  1. There was probably an agreement where they said they would add on what money he lost (believe it was 27k) to next years contract.
  2. I'd say Stroman has put it together. Over the last month he's been the team's best starter 10.36 K/9 1.09 BB/9 with a 62% GB rate
  3. your an idiot, it was the offspeed that got hit hard both times.
  4. Upton HAS to be covering that. Its just f***ing lazy incompetence by him. Saunders jumped and it was still over his head, not exactly an easy play.
  5. I mean the Jays fully deserved to lose the game with how they played even before those plays. But wow what a terrible game
  6. Him being in the rotation is costing the team starts of Happ, Stroman and Estrada who are all much better that's my biggest issue. Liriano can be the long man in the bullpen. either that or take Dickey out of the rotation but the 6 man rotaiton is stupid.
  7. If Liriano has another stinker I'd move him to the pen after this start. 6 man rotation is just making the team weaker.
  8. Josh Reddick who people want to replace Saunders with has been the least clutch hitter of all time I think.
  9. Tulo has been great but I think his MVP days are behind him. He's still a well above average SS and I'm completely fine with that.
  10. Can't be any worse than Upton/Ceciliiani at this point. I'm fine with him hitting 9th.
  11. Saunders seems a lot better in RF than LF. When Bautista is back I'd just have him DH and leave Saunders in right. His career numbers show he's always been better in RF too although the sample is small.
  12. Fantastic video of JD talking to Mark DeRoasa about his swing. Goes into deep detail about swing mechanics and how he's able to hit for so much power.
  13. Well obviously not otherwise he'd be released lol. Even if he improves a little bit he is still terrible. He's an awful option and should never start vs RHP, I think that is clear by now.
  14. Jays really need Pillar back. Upton is such garbage. Been worth -0.7 WAR while striking out almost 40% of the time.
  15. Strikeout rate isn't really an opinion lol. He either does or he doesn't.
  16. I'm fine with paying a little earlier to get the best price possible. Infield seats face value is like $65 each and now the tickets are going for double that. To be honest the Jays would make more money if there were less season ticket holders since they do the dynamic pricing now.
  17. Yeah I think they do have a payment plan but for my infield seats you save over $300 per ticket if you pay by September 8 compared to after Sep 30. I might have been wrong about the Postseason as it looks like there are 3 payment dates Sept 30, Oct 11 and Oct 21. But the real scam is you have to tell them you want your money back or else they just treat it as a credit on your account.
  18. Season Ticket prices are out for next year and I'm surprised they didn't go higher to be honest. Only complaint is that they have my STH renewal at the same time the playoff ticket balance is due and since I have 4 seats the total cost is a ridiculous 20 grand. And what ends up happening is even if the Jays make the playoffs they never end up playing the number of games you pay for anyway since they charge you for every possible game there could be. Interesting that 500 Level tickets have a new price for the first few rows as does the 100 Level.
  19. All depends on when you sold them. If you sold them right after they sold out on the public on sale you probably made a good amount of money. If you waited until the day before you could have lost money.
  20. Justin Smoak still can't make contact on a curveball I see.
  21. Nice to see Sanchez throw a few curveballs. For some reason he didn't throw one until the 5th batter of the game.
  22. And like I said it wasn't based solely on his tweets....
  23. It wasn't based on f***ing tweets, get real. There were articles he was mentioned saying he struggled with the mental side of the game.
