Shapiro said there was nothing new on that front to Lott. Whatever the changes are I expect there to be a pretty big improvement since the Jays are obviously very big on player development.
It was the same thing last year. The system just goes through each section so section 138 and 139 there is probably seats in rows 6-8 but it makes it fill up from the sides first.
Yeah I did 100 level outfield and I was getting 136 row 9 and 10. Not even going to waste my time. I'll call when its less busy and get row 5 and 6 like I did last year.
Have to think they've already seen it and the results were very bad so they're going for a second opinion. Same thing happened with Bautista's ankle earlier in the year I think where we didn't hear the results right away.
Hopefully I'm wrong but thats just the sense I get.
Thats why whatever roster moves he made in Boston really don't matter. He's coming here to have a big influence in player development, not sign free agents. And considering his track record in that area, this looks like an excellent hire.
