    Almost a sure bet Donaldson goes to FA considering they talked a long term extension last offseason and nothing got done. His value has only increased since then.. Your looking at a Miguel Cabrera/Joey Votto contract for him. Id sign him to 7 years if the contract kicks in next year but not if it starts his FA season.

    I had this thinking when he first came over but he's actually pretty good. Gets a ton of swing and miss and doesn't give up many HRs.

    Trade Block: Duffy, Suarez, Harrison, Alvarez and Ozuna. Strasburg could be moved in the right deal.

    I get what he's saying but he made himself sound like a huge dick in the process. I'm fine with what he does on the mound, I'm sure he has no problem when guys pimp homers off him. Grilli looked like an idiot last night though.

    Seems like a good hire. Red Sox have so much young talent in large part because of Cherrington and him. Really like the way Shapiro has shaped the FO. My guess is they have one of the highest earning FO in the game.

    I mean like say the Jays clinch the first wildcard before Saturday, would they play with their A lineup on Sat and Sun if it meant knocking Boston out of the #1 Seed to avoid a potential matchup with them in the ALDs.

    In the meantime can f***ing Carrera not bat leadoff?? Most important series of the year and without a pitch being thrown, the team is already at a disadvantage.

    Yeah running from the dugout actually makes me feel a lot more better about it. It could have easily happened on any play really.

    The stupidest thing from last night was Grilli and Martin being upset at Texeira for pimping the HR. Complete hypocrites since Grilli is the one screaming after walking off the mound on a strikeout. I'll never have a problem with a bat flip or celebrating a HR.

    I think he wins an appeal. He was never tossed from the game and Bush never received a suspension for Texas throwing at Bautista.
