How does a draft help Cuban players? They still need to sneak into another country so all those problems still exist. Only thing that would help them is if Cuba made a deal with the United States allowing them to play there. -

Funny thing is the MLBPA would probably have been better off accepting a salary cap. The owners have been pocketing more and more of league revenues to the point of where the players get the lowest amount of all of the sports. Maybe there is some correction due in the next few players with all of the star FA and players will stop signing these team friendly extensions. -
KC probably just holds on to him and hopes he regains his value so they don't have to eat money on that contract.

While Rogers has to sign off on big deals its the FO that is going to decide who gets what money. Rogers just gives them a payroll number, and the FO decides who gets what. If the Jays signed Bryce Harper hypothetically for 250 Million it'd be good value so why would Rogers step in and axe the deal?

If there really was a "conspiracy theory" you would think the NBA would want the Raptors to beat the Kings. NBA wants more global fans and Canada is a huge market. Who gives a s*** about the Kings, one of the smallest markets in the NBA?

Doubt it. Teams already have 8 men bullpens during the season so most teams would choose that. Only time I see it happening is if a position player gets hurt and needs to miss a few days without going on the DL.

Given that there is a good chance of 26 man rosters the team will need an additional bullpen arm to what we were even projecting.

I remember Saunders having like 29 HR, 95 RBI and a 295/340/550 slash line and I resigned him for like 3 years at 3.2 Million/season.
