  1. Obviously you have never played left field. EE will blame himself for the inning because he should have easily got the second out and no run would have scored. Obviously you have never played catcher. Those will blame himself for the inning because he should have easily caught that passed ball and no second run would have scored.
  2. I would have guessed Dickey was up there, but I'm surprised who the other 4 are. Some decent names
  3. If you place the blame on Dickey for that inning, then baseball may not be the best sport for you to follow
  4. Can the umps please screw up a call that somehow gives us another run please
  5. Ok so I assume you didn't watch. That "hard hit double" was an easy fly ball if EE isn't in left and that "hard hit single" was not hard hit - was not deep just happened to find the right spot based on defensive alignment. That was in no way a bad inning for Dickey and should have been 0 runs if it wasn't for defense.
  6. Uh....are you being serious? Did you watch any of that half inning? Did you honestly just say "who throws a knuckleball"?
  7. Oh god yes. May as well put Navarro out there today.
  8. How on earth are people criticizing Dickey for that inning? Might not like the guy but get a clue - should have been a scoreless inning.
  9. A real poo-poo brain.
  10. He hit a groundball earlier in the game where he barely jogged it out (what was a sure double play). Clearly he's been told to not go 100%. With what his bat can do compared to our minor leaguers, it's a sacrifice that's worth making.
  11. I'm usually the first to jump all over the idiots who blame Gibby for everything and anything, but PHing for Lind was a question mark to me. Granted I don't remember the last time Lind bunted, but I would think you could save his bat for later and just ask him to drop one down.
  12. You can say it over and over again, but you're still wrong.
  13. That was the right call, you want that run to score on a single and you aren't letting Bautista run at full effort with his legs at this stage. The problem was asking DM to bunt instead of just leaving Lind in to do it. Save the better bat for later and although I have no idea if Lind is any good at bunting, he couldn't have done any worse.
  14. Let's just say my Santos jersey hasn't gotten a lot of wear.....
  15. I hate following GDT while watching on rogersondemand online. So delayed, have to learn to only refresh this thread between at bats!
  16. You didn't read the leaked reports from Jays front office?
  17. Yeah what a terrible decision. Bring in the righty who has been fantastic out of the pen to face a righty. What on earth was he thinking!?!?!?!?! I mean it only resulted in a double play. Off with his head!!!!
  18. wrong, but ok let's all pile up on Gibbons. Popular misguided theme around here.
  19. So I wasn't watching live - was that infield hit legitimately an error? They can change the ruling mid-game if so. I remember the Mets appealed an infield hit once after the game once, though it was quickly denied.
  20. I've never thought Gibby was the problem. In fact I think it's glaringly apparent he isn't. Without him I doubt we would be in the position we're in. there are better managers in the game but none that we can hire at this stage.
  21. Did you not sense my sarcasm??? Thought it was dripping off the page.........
