Fiers isn't a sexy acquisition, but it's hard to argue with his numbers. Certainly would be a hell of an upgrade over Doubront. -

I'm usually one of the first guys to defend our guys since they take a lot of unwarranted criticism, but this game has been absolutely terrible to watch. The one time KC's defense shits the bed we decide to play even worse defense then usual and make two ridiculous decisions on the basepaths. Sad sad way to enter the break. I guess we can still win though. Let's just do that.

It's as though you didn't even watch the play. Hit rewind and watch. There was zero chance - absolutely terrible decision when there's two outs, completely moronic with one out.

That's ridiculous. There was no free run there under any circumstance (unless he thought Perez was about to have a heart attack from the heat)

How on earth can you like that play. You would literally have to catch them sleeping - as in Perez would have had to lied down and taken a nap for Martin to have any reason to think he would find his way home on that play. Just terrible in every way.

There was no reason to make a turn that wide. Just inexcusable.

This is the type of game we can't lose because of stupid miscues. Just terrible. Even that relay home would have made it a 1 run game which makes this half inning a lot difference. Inexcusable.
