Starting pitchers with a line that Estrada had after 3 innings aren't pulled from the game by any manager unless it's the playoffs. Especially when the next day's SP is in question and the pen might have to be relied on more.

What would you give up for Shields and Kimbrel?

I'm starting to think having an arsenal of guys in the pen available for the 7th, 8th, 9th is worth more than I would have thought in the past. Maybe I'm being swayed by the success of the Yanks and Royals and the struggles of our pen, but I sure would like to feel comfortable in the later innings. Osuna has been more than fine, but imagine having him as a setup guy with a bonafide closer following him. -
Curious what people think a reasonable package would be for these two. The high salary of both complicates things (as does the expected return based on what they gave up for Kimbrel). The control aspect has to be of some interest to AA though you would think (if there's actually money available, which I question)

Well first off, no there's no way that's true. Martin is basically walking the bases at this stage. And Eddy was on with zero outs, not two outs - completely different situation

Amazing move by Gibby to bring in Osuna here, delivery is much quicker would never have caught him with Cecil pitching

I hope you're kidding, that's the easiest move to understand. Down by 1, need to have a guy that can score from 1st on a double and Martin is hobbling around on that bum leg right now
