    Semien hasn't even seen the city of Toronto yet, and probably won't this year given our governments incompetence. I'd wager it will take a significant overpay to entice him to stay, especially if he continues to play well. The market for him will be broader than the top SS FAs, as most teams won't even entertain the type of of money/length of contract said FAs will garner.

    Polling the players I'm sure they are in favor of both robo-umps and expanded playoffs by a considerable majority. The problem is the cancerous idea of unions (which historically had value but is no longer the case) and the need for the them get something significant in return for any change regardless of their memebers stance on the issue.
