  1. Jays have actually hit shields pretty decently. Just not too much luck so far.
  2. I expected a more detailed explanation from you.
  3. What's your take on Pillar's current approach?
  4. Pillar's early season approach is officially dead....
  5. That makes two Gunner's in the Jays system, what are those odds....
  6. Anyone wanna take a stab at what it would take to get Brandon Phillips from the Braves? He's a shell of his former self, but he's still a decent defender and would provide alot more with the stick than either Goins or Barney. He's also owed peanuts as Cincinnati is eating the bulk of his contract.
  7. Jays with some high level fielding on display today....
  8. Gruber, what insight do you have for Pillar's current approach?
  9. Let's put together an inning here boys!
  10. Gibby having faith in lefty righty splits I would assume.....
  11. Jays need to light up Pelfry, he's a bum.
  12. He really needs to get promoted, I want to see him in the MLB in 2019.
  13. I still have faith Tulo will start hitting this year, even if it's blind faith. But even if he doesn't, he's still pretty to look at.
  14. This thread is gold.
  15. Bats pride on full display right there, swinging at s***.
  16. oh maah gawd, Goins laid down a successful bunt.........4 yr extension please
  17. I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I'd be on board with getting rid of this pool bonus system in the next CBA. Switching to a system that would just assign the value of each pick, eliminating the negotiating process altogether. It would make for a much more interesting draft, but would definitely require teams to invest way more into scouting players outside of there signing bubble.
  18. Referencing years prior, his K/BB rates haven't changed, hence why with a relatively small sample size in AAA it looks like a BABIP fueled slump. I'll admit, I've only watched a handful of his games in Buffalo this year but nothing jumps out as to the reason for such a sharp quick decline in results. I wouldn't be surprised to see him somewhat turn it around in the last 2/3s of the season.
  19. I still wouldn't quite write off Tellez, his K and BB rates are still solid, just seems like he's been struck with the BABIP AIDS right meow.
  20. I wasn't trying to suggest he was, just that the Jays should target this power arm if he's still on the board.
