    According to baseball-reference, West got a whole 2.1 innings and Guilmet got a gargantuan 3 innings of work this spring. That's more than enough sample size. They blew it.

    God has hated the Blue Jays for 22 years (and counting), so Osuna making the team makes sense now. Thanks, God.

    Sanchez will be out of the rotation by mid-May. He is no where near ready to start. I think Castro might be decent enough to stick around but I could see Osuna demoted at some point. AA seems to think he has a new revolutionary way to developing young starters so let's see how it plays out. Still think Sanchez in the rotation is insane, but only slightly less insane than having Osuna and Castro in the Majors already.

    I need Cam'ron to point out how mad I am. That's how mad I am. Should have traded Sanchez to the A's for Donaldson and kept Graveman and Barreto.

    Osuna and Castro in the pen and Sanchez in the rotation. All three will be demoted by the end of May.

    Estrada should be the #5 starter, with Sanchez in the pen, and Hendriks as the long man.

    Hope so. The Phils would have to eat a ton of salary though so I can't see it happening.

    Not enough Navarro in that lineup. It's going to happen, whether we like it or not.

    Boras would love the Jays organization. They start a player's service clock at age 20 right out of A ball, and are starting like 6 or 7 rookies in a season they want to win. It's a shame Beeston won't allow a business relationship with Boras.

    Navarro at DH. Hmmm. Gibby supporters will be dwindling by May.

    Castro, Sanchez, Osuna, and Pentecost for Hamels and Papelbon. Seriously, if the Jays are going to use Castro/Osuna as relievers at age 20 while burning an option on each of them, then I'd rather use them in trades where actual value will come back.

    Let Navarro catch Dickey. Thole isn't even a catcher and he can do it. Navarro doesn't have to frame s***, just keep the ball in front of him.

    The Gibby love will dwindle down when he's starting Navarro at DH after 2 weeks, and destroying every arm in the pen as he normally does with overuse. But hey, he knows how to do a lefty/righty platoon! Extend him!

    We have a gigantic 9 innings of sample size from the spring that says Osuna is ready to jump 3 levels at age 20 and pitch in the big leagues. One outing is way less than 9 innings. He's still ready, dammit.

    Drabek's control couldn't get any worse if he started throwing lefty.

    I think some are wanting to keep Hendriks because after Estrada, he's pretty much the next best SP option on the depth chart. That's more telling of how poor the depth is than how good he is, but still. I'd rather Hendriks start than Randy Wolf.

    Are they even keeping Hendriks at this point? If Drabek got snatched up, then I can't see how Hendriks will pass.

    Agreed. Estrada is going to start games for the Jays this year, barring some unbelievable luck with health. The Jays need as many arms capable of starting as possible. If Osuna and Castro get a few starts here and there, that wouldn't be bad either. If they are going to be up anyway, then try to get as many innings as possible.

    The second Tommy John surgery zapped his velocity. I had hope for him prior to the spring but I think he's done now.
