    How the hell was that pitch to Davis called a foul ball? lol. Man umps are scary in close games. Grandy is awesome.

    Lol how the f*** is the game still tied? Wow the Jays got lucky. JD needs to make up for the grounder. Put some runners on this inning and bring him up.

    Damn. JD should have at least kept that ball in front of him. The wheels fell off after that. Camden Yards always has this unlucky s*** happen.

    There's no rush to promote them so I think they will take their time. But man, I could see both of them starting 2019 in the bigs at the rate they are going. Not good for service time reasons but they'd probably be ready for it.

    Probably a little bit of both, with Rogers not wanting to rebuild, and possibly Shapiro realizing he can get away with not doing one. Cashman was able to balance being competitive with rebuilding for the Yanks. The Jays might be able to do the same given how close their top prospects are. It might lead to some 82 win finishes in the short term, or if we are lucky a WC appearance thrown in there, but as long as they don't go crazy by trading prospects for short term help, then it could work without having to blow things up.

    Damn, I'm not liking how good the Angels look. Need that 2nd wild card to be open.

    Vlad, Bo, Gurriel, Alford, and Jansen could all start 2019 on the big league roster. Can't believe the Jays actually have position player prospects that are good. Seems like forever.

    The Angels look really good offensively. If they get any starting pitching they will be tough to beat.

    Would have been a nice game to end with Axford and Loup, but now have to use Osuna. Damn.

    Just put Morales on the DL for the next two years. That way he gets to sit on the bench for vetrin presentz and not hurt the team on the field anymore. It's ridiculous that the front office keeps him knowing full well he's already sunk cost because no amount of realistic performance from him will ever make him tradeable. Just cut your losses guys.

    Yeah, but I meant doing this type of stuff (FB) at least makes sense for what he's trying to do. The other stuff is just ruining the game and still not attracting the new viewers he wants, which is stupid. This FB deal is harmless.

    Yeah this is Manfred trying to reach the kids. Can't really broadcast a game on Instagram or Snapchat, so even if FB doesn't appeal as much to the kids, it's probably the best option for what he is trying to do. I'd rather he do stuff like this than implement a rule where a base runner is on 2nd to start an inning in extra innings, or whatever nonsense that is going on in the minors.

    Well, we split with a vastly superior team, and then took 2/3 from a s***** team with the one loss being a 1 run game. I mean, not great, but could have been a lot worse.

    I like the Twins as the 2nd WC since they will get a mouthful of White Sox, Royals, and Tigers all year. Hope I'm wrong though. Hate the Twinkies and their boring old school s***. At least the Angels have Trout so if any team beats the Jays out for the 2nd WC I'd prefer them.

    Eh, Grichuk is a decent lottery ticket type to take a chance on. Maybe he becomes a better power hitter at the Dome and combined with D and speed is a ~2 WAR player in right. But yeah, as Shatkins begins to start bringing guys up from the farm system, less high K hackers would be a nice change. Vladdy's sexy BB/K numbers will be fun to watch.

    You knew this game was over when two runners were on with 0 out, Grichuk was up 3-0 in the count and swung at 2 straight balls so far out of the strike zone that he would have needed 10 additional inches on his bat to even make contact. Just one of those games.

    This team can add a win or two to their season by just releasing Morales. That’s how bad he is.
