Yup. Solarte will play all over the field in addition to splitting time at 2B while Travis is healthy. The one who might lose PT is Morales, especially if JD's shoulder forces him to DH more. I doubt too many people would mind that trade off.
Travis and Martin are both on '2 days on, 1 day off'. That's fine for Travis since he's injury prone and Solarte is a decent MLB player, but not sure I like that many AB's for Maile.
Man people are actually complaining that the team is hitting home runs? Lol. The majority of the team has BA's in the .100's or less. They'll get hits eventually, but in the mean time they are winning with the long ball and good pitching. Not sure what the issue is.
Biggio is going to be the third wheel with Vlad and Bo in every stop, isn't he? Not sure how much of a prospect he actually is, but it would be cool if he turns into something.
I liked that steal attempt. Betances has trouble with base runners and the Jays scoring any runs with this lineup is very unlikely. Damn Sanchez had to make a perfect throw.
Lol I know I was being sarcastic. Every off season Pillar is supposed to change his approach but he’s the same old s***** hitter every year. At least he brings value in other areas.
Wasn’t Pillar supposed to be more selective this season? Second straight game where he got to a 3 ball count and swung at ball 4. It’s almost like he is what he is and will never change.
The Sportsnet.ca comments section is taking over this forum like the NWO back in the day. We are a few posts away from someone bemoaning the loss of Ryan Goins.
