    Before he made adjustments. His last two starts have been very good, only giving up 1 run in each of his last 2 starts (and 2 tonight). Teheran isn't as bad as he's shown.

    If we walked Simmons, we still likely lose because Bourn is difficult to double up if he made contact.

    The Yankees pummeled the Braves.. facing MUCH weaker arms than what we saw. They faced Williams Perez, Matt Wisler, and Julio Teheran. And recent adjustments by Julio have really helped.. he's been much better than when the Yanks faced him. And the Yanks pen is imploding.. they're about to hand the Rays a W.

    Why bother putting out their top lineup? Braves are a disgrace.. Swisher and Bourn are garbage, Adonis Garcia can't walk to save his life, and this Braves team cannot score.

    Uh..no. That's just sick. What they'll putting in is some automatic toilets and urinals.. which they already have done in the 100 level as part of renos (really hate automatic toilets BTW)

    Aren't we forgetting Sabathia? I was thinking it'd be Sabathia/Warren or Severino/Pineda.

    As it stands right now, Tanaka pitches Sunday vs. the Mets on extra rest. Don't forget, he still has an elbow that could blow any minute.. he needs the extra rest. Pineda and Nova are scheduled to pitch Friday and Saturday. Don't forget, Girardi needs to aim Tanaka for the wild card game, which likely means he misses the Jays series.

    If Houston continues to struggle, it'll be the Twins facing the Yanks and the Astros watching the postseason from home. Astros seem to be crashing back to earth.. they've been barely a .500 team in their last 20, and have been badly outplayed by the Rangers.

    Suddenly, there's a risk the Astros may not even make the playoffs at all, as the Rangers could be only 0.5 back with a win, and only 1.5 up on the Twins.

    Braves are a mess right now. At least the Phillies were actually playing well at the time.. the Braves just have absolutely stunk post All Star Break.
