  1. It is a joke--MLB's page screwed up. It's only 3 walks. Sorry about that.. still, it was a bad start.
  2. No kidding! 12 f***ing walks! It must be close to an MLB record for a starting pitcher...
  3. Sox salvage a game in Milwaukee thanks to Mookie Betts.. Meanwhile, the Rays--ugh... Just 9,340 showed up today for the game, pushing Expos levels. How long is MLB going to let this charade continue?
  4. Jays won't have to lose Bolsinger for at least 10 days after this.. Campos will likely be up until Sanchez is activated Sunday. Not a shock Liriano went on the DL--something is wrong with him, especially considering last night.
  5. Mariners claim Casey Lawrence off waivers.. yes, they're THAT desperate for starting pitching because of the injuries.
  6. Mariners are just below us.. and 4 of their 5 starters are on the DL. This weekend's rotation for the Mariners are De Jong, Overton, Bergman and Miranda.. if the Jays don't take 3/4 or sweep this series, something is not right..
  7. Red Sox aren't far behind on that DL money number as well with Sandoval and Price on there, along with Thornburg, Smith, Wright and Holt.
  8. Competently run? C'mon.. O's have the worst farm system in the majors, and will likely see their entire core leave after this season and next. Jones is gone after 2018 as is Machado, Britton, Brach.. and Tillman's gone after this season, along with Smith, Hardy (that option's getting declined for sure).. as the Yankees are set to rise, the O's are headed for a huge fall.. which makes it important they win this year, as there's no way ownership is going to pay up for most of their free agents. Like the Jays, the O's core is aging--they're a fairly old team offensively, and have nothing in the farm system to replace it.
  9. Coghlan at 2B? Has the org. lost interest in Travis? Thought to be fair, Travis' .157/.204/.245 line has a trip to Buffalo in his future with Goins moving to 2B when Tulo comes back in the next week.
  10. And #1 picks don't always work out--for every Bryce Harper, Mauer or Price, there's busts like Tim Beckham, Delmon Young, Matt Anderson..
  11. At least Toronto's more due to injuries and can still turn it around--KC and SF just plain suck, as KC can't score and SF can't pitch...
  12. Twins bullpen has imploded in the 9th-- 9 runs and counting for the Red Sox as Belisle, Haley and now Breslow have blown a close game wide open..
  13. Former Blue Jays farmhand Austin Biben-Dirkx has made it to the majors with the Texas Rangers. Shows the lack of depth in Texas...
  14. Basically--he better buy a Giants jersey, as that's likely where he's headed...
  15. Matt Szuczur (sp?) DFAd by the Cubs just to get arms.. what's your bet Shapiro/Atkins are looking at him because Jays have top waiver claim being the worst team in MLB? Brett Anderson hurt AGAIN.. 5-0 Yanks.
  16. Cantwell is only coming to New Hampshire due to Reese McGuire's injury in AA.. as the team needs catching depth in the lower minors.
  17. TJ House? Brett Oberholtzer? Bolsinger? Or even prospect Luis Santos?
  18. Cards facing losses of both Stephen Piscotty and Dexter Fowler--Fowler's injury is apparently quite bad:
  19. Fake. Nobody in Boston media has said that.. plus Boston has no chips to offer without destroying the big league roster, as the White Sox would demand Benintendi and/or Devers in any deal..
  20. Kyle Kendrick's start is brought to you by the letters D, F and A--which is where he's headed after this start after Machado just hit a 3-run HR.
  21. Someone fell asleep at 1B for the O's.. allowing Bogaerts to get back to 1st, and allowing 2 runs to score...
  22. Anyone in Boston know how to play 3B? Another error!
  23. It's a lucky thing the Indians have depth in the lineup--because Edwin isn't providing much help. 40% K rate in his ABs (33% K rate on his plate appearances).. despite Morales struggling as well, the Jays may have made the right move bailing on Edwin now.. considering how fast he's regressing. And it's showing in the standings--Cleveland is trying to hold off everyone other than Kansas City in the division, and just lost Kluber for 10 days or more due to back issues..
  24. Who knew the Yankees would be leading the division on May 4th, and leading the AL in offense? Suddenly, they look like a serious threat this year... providing their SP depth holds up (they're not that deep in MLB-ready options in the minors in case injuries hit.) Meanwhile, the Jays continue to struggle due to injuries(2004 all over again and Boston's been mediocre because of scoring struggles and bad 3B defense.. AL Worst in errors.
