    Its OK if you are looking for privacy. People don't go there for the beach, but to roam around through the treed pathways. There is a tour that the Park Rangers take you.

    That's Caladesi Island off Dunedin. Its a state park. But no, the beach there is narrow and partly rocky. Clearwater has miles of 100 yard wide, deep white sand. It is regularly voted Best Beach In USA. Kind of cool because the Dolphins swim up and down the beaches. Tons of bikinis.

    I really like Clearwater, there is so much to do, without going too far. Dunedin is more quaint, but smaller. That whole area, Dunedin to St. Pete, is so quick to get around once you know the tourist routes to stay off of. If you like beaches, Clearwater is the best. Restaurants to die for. Very good weather, No Hurricanes.........

    There is a lot to that. I bought when exchange was at par, and prices at 50% of what they were 2 years prior. Since then, prices are up 250%. Exchange rate is about 25%. So that sounds close to 300%. But, if I sell, I would have to pay a 30% foreign ownership tax. And then I would maybe want to rebuy, at the new higher prices. So then I,m screwed. So it only sounds good when you sell.

    If this is his ceiling, I will take it. 8 innings of 3 hit, 1 run, take that every game. Sanchez has the kind of stuff, that even if the batter knows what is coming, they still cant hit it.

    You would kind of think he was dominant last night, No? Having 3 major league pitches has to be better than 2. But Yes, I was looking for that 96 mph heater myself, I am sure he could mix in a few of them also? Would that make 4?

    That's the American way. 8 years ago I bought a house in Clearwater, about 2 miles from Dunedin stadium. At that time, unemployment was rampant. Homeless were every where. The shopping malls were empty. Not just a lack of shoppers, No Stores. Whole malls just empty. Car dealerships closed up. Highway construction at a stop. The people living there were skinny. Empty houses everywhere. This winter, most of the malls are back full of stores. Highway construction has been completed. Car dealerships booming. The public is fat. Houses full of renters. There are HELP WANTED signs everywhere. Living the American Dream.

    Its a fact. The US economy is running superfast right now. All of the small changes that Obama put into place have taken hold, and Trump has not yet been able to screw it up. He likes to take credit for the economy booming, but he is just taking credit for what Obama did.

    After game 11 of the season, the question would have to be, Why Rebuild? At some point in the season that answer may change, but for now, the Jays are competitive and fun to watch. If the wins keep mounting, the fans will again fill the stadium. Think of how things will be when Travis and Grichuk start hitting. Bo and Vlad are around the corner. Exiting times coming for Jays without a rebuild.

    I have same problem only worse. It took 2-3 minutes for me to reply to your post. Sometimes I wait so long that I reply twice, and the site reminds me that I have replied twice to the same post. Even logging onto the site takes 30 seconds, and moving from page to page is also slow.

    I would say it takes at least 3 singles to have a hope of matching 1 HR. 3 singles in one inning, not easily done. This idea of playing small ball was invented in BIG national league parks, where it is physically hard to hit home runs. The smaller American league parks have teams built around the long ball. Home runs are a big part of the game.

    Why Grichuk? To me he is more of a power guy.

    There are so many areas of improvement. Obviously biggest concern is JD at 3B. However he was hurt last April also, and ended up having a huge 2nd half. Biggest opportunity for improvement I see, is in SP. A healthy Sanchez and Garcia, will make a huge improvement in the rotation.

    Heh Heh, I was being facetious. He was actually running very awkward. However I still don't remember Edwin as a fast runner. Picked his spots.
