The ultimate shame was John Farrell leaving, we get a ton of good players to win the WS, The Red Sox under Farrell win the WS, and we suck.
The Wandy thing was AAA shaming.
Geez, I'd be sooooo pumped if the Jays took a freaking gamble and decided to start Dustin. Seriously, I say demote Happ. So he can work on that ******** arm slot.
I'm a nurse at a "local" hospital. But it was a split shift, so I just relaxed to the Jays for a while.
The only s***** thing about MLB.COM is I think all TO games are blacked out, so I still need Sportsnet.
Oh man, that would be soooooo great. Kratz > Thole, Dustin, Redmond, Rogers > Happ, and Kawasaki > Izturis (maybe not talent-wise, but he's fun to watch).
- Jays start the season weakly, but then regroup and are within 3 games of the wildcard until almost the last day of the regular season
- Jays pick up Shark at the trade deadline for Gose and a B+ pitching prospect
- Rasmus is signed to a HUGE deal mid-season
- MB defies all odds and predictions and make the all star team
- Dickey's season ending ERA is 2.99
That's a whole lot of dick references.
But yeah, I'm starting to have a good feeling about this team. Like the SP might actually work out. I have never seen a Jays team which such pitching depth...we have 8 starters. That's crazy. No aces, but a few of those guys could do things. Granted a lot of it is unproven, but there's always the chance that Rogers and Redmond can give us 12+ wins. Hutch, maybe 15+ if things really work out for him.
Most of us are cheering for him, too. I'd like to see him in the rotation. I'm more likely to watch the game with Dustin pitching than Redmond or Happ (blech!.
That would be fantastic...
With all these TJ's this is a great time for AA to start trading away some of our excess.
I'd give them Dustin over those guys, if Detroit would take him.
