  1. I love how you say this pissed off when the Yanks win...in the "scoreboard watching" thread lol
  2. such prose...well said
  3. He is really good....he kills us and I hate him. Topped out at a 6 fWAR
  4. Didn't you used to have a donkey or horses ass for an avatar and go around mass spamming the trolls "fish...in a barrel" periodically?
  5. What happened to him? 2012-14 he was solid....2012 he was Betances unhittable. Age caught up with him?
  6. He is a stud. Cant believe LTR was complaining about Jose's AB against him. He just destroyed Plouffe on 3 FBs. He makes very good hitters look like Goins sometimes.
  7. Remember in 2012 the hub bub about him making the AS Team for KC at home? What irony. He wouldn't even crack their line up now and he was their best at that time.
  8. Ever since my Grandad was very sick in NS and we walked down to the sitting area at the hospital to watch the 1977 World Series on a little crappy TV I have hated the Yankees. He would sit there smoking his pipe (yes in the hospital) coughing and bitching about the way Mickey Rivers spun his bat around. I still hate the Yankees. Go MINN
  9. Those honest comments from Mark B are some real blunt insights into why its so hard to sign FAs here at an elemental level.
  10. Sempai, BJ and Dogg and countless others.....yes. It was endless. Here there are trolls but at least in the minority. Even the chicken littles on here are better.
  11. cess pool of trolls.
  12. It makes sense. Before his last 2 starts a number of us were calling for this. Agree that how its managed with Hutch is important. He is a competitor and no matter what he isn't going to like it.
  13. No idea if its going to translate. Hague is another career ML bat, but his numbers in BUFF are pretty impressive this season. 57 BBs 56 Ks .909 OPS
  14. Not sure about that but you never know until they are given a real shot. He has been excellent. We all wondered how Osuna would do in high leverage as he worked his way up the chart this year. Now we know.
  15. Its an off day so WTH: Jays have added some key pieces to the pen - Lowe, Hawkins and Sanchez. Loup and Delabar are in BUFF. Osuna is the closer and has been throwing well. Pieces like the Aussie, Cecil and Schultz have been very solid overall. The SP has been going deeper and the pen has responded well. Reading an article today that many feel the Jays still need another dominant pen arm to get into and make a deep run, although options for acquiring that are very limited now post deadline. (CBS - Heyman) How the pen assets are utilized has been the subject of a lot of debate on the Board. Since the break we blew gms to KC and NYY. Even with the bolstered pen its been a big issue for this team. IMO we now have the arms in the pen. Osuna can close. Gibby has to use our other assets more appropriately depending on the situation. Ex: Sanchez, who pitches to contact cant come in with runners on 2B and 3B with less than 2 outs FFS. Id like to see a clear 8th inning guy try to be established. We got Lowe for that role, so lets use him. Other thoughts?
  16. lol...Krylian...you twisted sly dog.
  17. https://aeroplan.fanxchange.com/toro...e-jays-tickets try that....just need an aeroplan # sorry...just saw you are looking for season tickets.
  18. Agreed. Was going to just write this as I have one ear jack in in my office. The irony of Barker schooling Tulo on hitting. Why cant I stop? f***ing off days.
  19. As much as I appreciate Colla's hitting overall I think its a stretch based on his PAs only in this season to conclude that he "has a more potent bat". The sample size is too small. With the Jays small bad moves cumulatively add up to larger issues.
  20. Its kind of the same debate we had when Jose hurt his shoulder April 21st whether to DL him or not. Martin with injury > Navarro and we are in a playoff race.
  21. What aspects do you see as over rated? Cueto and Zobrist nice pick ups. I hope so too on someone spanking them in the POs. Cocky bunch.
  22. So true. That last series with them was electric. Watched Herrera last night pumping out FBs at 101. Cant stand that guy but he is good. Id love to see JD drill one of those (or more than one!) in the playoffs. That team is well put together. Pitching, D and a solid offense. I still like how we match up now though.
  23. So true. Brett Gardner is one of those LHH guys that just seems to haunt us in big situations. Tough out. Its nice to think that we have guys that the Yanks fans complain about too haha.
  24. You are defending the indefensible. Sorry I asked about it. Nothing to see here folks and lets move on mod.
  25. Not always. Sometimes where there is smoke there is just poor roster management and decision making. I buy Danny V may have wanted to play more but that doesn't translate into clubhouse cancer imo.
