    I get that. His SLG is disappointing and a 106 wRC+ in AAA isn't exciting. We could use the speed and the OBP, assuming he can translate those numbers. At least his K rate is under 20%. The issue has been compounded by Zeke, Pillar and Jose all being out; Saunders and Melvin both slumping and Saunders just being bad defensively. Is it worth an option year to find out with Dalton in a season where they have an excellent chance to win? Apparently it isn't.

    It can't be possible he, Smoak and Saunders can all stay playing like this? Is it? I am looking forward to them doing something really positive none of us expect...soon.

    Not to mention the Martin anger over his post season and start to 2016.

    Interesting. Weiters is at O.8 WAR after accepting his QO. Still, it's one year risk which makes it palatable with the chance they reach some of past WAR levels. Both Weiters and Colby have proven upside...they just haven't seen a lot of it this season.

    I don't know. I've been hearing some chirping about his K's from casuals lately on Saunders. If he comes out of this nose dive all will be forgiven.

    With slim market this off season, it's worth 1 year risk on QO that he accepts(I think he will). He is turning into a pumpkin offensively after exceeding expectations 1st half. He is a defensive liability. 2 ish WAR ceiling with injury history. G-Snarls 2/22 or something like that might be worth it, but I just hate building around a pylon in the OF who K's 30% of the time.

    Headley doesn't hit much anymore but he still has the mitt. He made a hell of a play on that smash. Made a tough play look easy. And now I'm going to go smash something....

    That sucks. Edwin hit it hard. Headley made a great pick. Smoak had great chance to tie it in the 5th with a SF. That game was ass. Got to hand it to our arms tonight. Our bats were ice f***ing cold. Get em tomorrow.

    You know its going well when Sandy Leon has a 185 wRC+. they are firing on all cylinders. Its f***ing near time to give RA a pass in the rotation. He has been god awful.

    Can't really disagree with this. Can you imagine? Going from a alleged 6/150 demand to a year to year at basically what you are making 2016. Wow. Baseball can be cruel. But hey...we should all have such problems. I never imagined Jose might actually TAKE a QO when this season started lol. I really hope he does come back and rake in Sept.

    Probably, but he will get a rude awakening from the market. His offensive numbers on LD% are still solid and his eye is still elite. But he has become a one dimensional pull hitter who is struggling to hit the FB as well as in the past. He might get a Beltran 3/45 ish deal to end his career, but his days in the OF have to be numbered.

    Ya. Our 4 man doesn't have any of the huge names(Sale, Kluber etc), but as a group they are extremely solid. If our offense is our offense, we play D like we can and our pen continues to pitch like better (i think Cecil is still going to be a big factor) we can beat anyone.
