    Took a couple days after the sting of Gm 5 to leave for me, but I started this thread and wanted to end it. You weren't what we what we paid for. You cost us Thor and only gave us 6 WAR. But you chewed up many decent starts and genuinely seemed like you had a lot of smarts. You brought us Thole and the worst playoff hammering in our history. Who knew Cliff Pennington had such a decent fastball? A seemingly very nice guy, who forever could not shake the cost of bringing him here. There were moments that transcended our general hatred of the trick pitch that made you famous; prolonged your career and got you a NL Cy Young award. Your acquisition permanently scarred AA's reputation with many, and offset some of the brilliance of moves that he made like JD deal. Sincerely, wish him well in his future path but the time here, even at a much reduced cost, has come to end I hope. Thanks for the memories and a class approach regardless of the adversity that you faced on the bump and with the fan base.

    Spanky is Spanky. Good guy. Just like I pictured too. And he wears a "Stieb" jersey which tells you how long he has been a true blue Jays fan.

    Spanky connects with me and my fam to watch a Jays Win Running into Puig and Justin Turner at the Aquarium after a game with LAD. Chatted and they signed ball/hat for my son who pretty excited to see them in their civvies.

    Edwin's walk off against the 0's The Donaldson Dash on Odor's E Devon Travis's return to the field The last 2 games of the season in Fenway (one of which was an amazing start by Sanchez)

    I will remember Edwins walk off and Donaldsons dash to win Game 3 at Texas for the rest of my life. Thanks Jays. At the end of the day our offense let us down in this series. That's why we lost. We did ok with the offense all season, but it wasn't what we thought it could/would be. Our starters were amazing. I love Gibby but leaving Stro in to face the line up a 3rd time in Game 3 was an awful move as was not pinch running Pompey tonight in the 8th. Its time for a change I think. Even with those things, I just don't think we hit enough to win this series and CLE played better period. All in all a very good season. It had my son and I up and screaming at the TV in both anger and joy many times. I love my Jays. Always will.

    I understand the frustration and I'm pissed off we are down too. But so much hostility for some of the players on a team that's brought us some amazing moments into the ALCS still gets me. I don't get it. Red Sox Nation and Tex fans would love to be where we are right now. And this game isn't over yet.

    3-1 now with a little more hustle out of the box by Martin. Pick him up Zeke.

    Its easier to make that case with RHP Kluber who also has great movement on a 92-94 FB to go with the breaking balls. Against Merrit its not as easy a case to make that they cant adjust.

    What were the odds he would stay away after he got that 2 strike call on Edwin? About 100%. So we do what we too often do. Roll over on the next pitch and pull it to the left side and hit into DP.

    It's hard but im just trying to relax. Top of 2nd. Pitches were up in the 1st so hoping Marco settles in and we patiently get to this shitballer. We can't be panicking thinking about Miller or anyone else.

    Meh. He got mashed by the long ball a lot all year. No diff tonight. He pitches almost all in the bottom part of the zone. 3rd time through he is measured and if one leaks out over the plate...Kipnis. Gibby should have not let him face 3rd time through in a must win.

    I don't know what this even means. The BoSox are golfing and they have lots of youth. Napoli isn't young and he has a 2B (thx Jose) and a HR tonight. We just need to f***ing hit like we can.

    Why are you so negative almost every post? It's 1-1. Why don't we just get behind our team pulling out a win here.? We all know Jose should have caught that ball etc etc.

    A LO BB and a blown catch in RF. Jose rarely makes anything but the most routine plays. Not the start we needed. Lets hope our bats are alive tonight.

    I'm giving Gibby credit. Very smart move. This is a must win game tonight and he isn't f***ing around. A lot will depend on whether the bottom 3 can put up some good ABs chipping in, and give us a chance to keep turning that line up over. We need a couple guys who aren't named Edwin and JD to step up and help them carry some of the load tonight.
