    Egalitarian baseball. We need more Panik and Drury...and cowbell. I’m so pissed off. I heard my father in law say “good job Charlie we need more small ball” and I had to leave the room. At least Joe Siddal pointed out how dumb that was topped off by leaving Shaw on bench. I thought this f***head was supposed to bring us some Tampa voodoo (in a positive way).

    Grew up Bruins fan in NS thx to Orr etc and the Habs were always our mortal enemies. My view hasn't changed much on that but I find myself also now not liking the hapless Leafs...maybe even a developed an irrational dislike. I think it was what I perceived as arrogance around Babcock and Shanahan (who I liked as a player). Early on they weren't going to spend their way to success and blah blah blah...now they have loaded on up on picks and signings and still can't get over the top with all that talent.

    I remember that. Maybe its the expanse of media today but cant remember it being anything like the Vlad hype. Olerud had a 122 wRC+ his 1st season. That's solid. Would happily take that production from Vlad this year. Olerud 57 WAR career. Two 8 WAR seasons @ 1B. Pretty special player.

    Bo is such a hacker man I love it. 97 MPH away and he drives it. Leave Biggio at lead off.

    When I watch his swing from the side and it reminds me a bit of Bellingers. Biggio has become my fav of the latest crop of Jays. I make my 12 year old son watch his ABs and any side views I can get of his swing and approach.

    Will Teoscar and his 162 wRC+ stick? Having a great start with the bat and looks more comfortable in the OF.

    We are better than last year, but this team still isn't very good. Want to be a contender in this asterisk season, but its another development year. Nice DP. That could have been a lot worse.

    No, I know he is very fast. Ya, your guys point is fair. Calculated risk. You guys are probably right its more likely he ties game more I think about it. I would have been fine with the call but im also not pissed off they gave Grichuk a chance to hit a shallow FB.

    LOL. That pop up and base running were cringe worthy and epically brutal. Even if he was fast (which he isn't) why make 1st out at 3B? This isn't hard. Glass half full I'll take yesterdays AB's as a positive.

    Hmm. Agree with all this although I don't think its a given if they throw down Alford scores. As likely BoSox are looking for that and 2B breaks to ball on throw going home and its bang bang play. All it takes is a shallow fly ball to tie with Alford on 3B and one out, and he bet on Grichuk delivering. It didn't work out with the DP lol but I have a lot bigger complaints about Buntoyo than that decision.

    If McKinney ran 3-1 and Grichuk swings and misses...which he does a lot McKinney is DOA. Now 2 out and harder to score tying run. I get your point but I don't like having McKinney running there. Granted it didn't work out not sending him.

    He fouls off more cheese down the middle. Finally gets a ball into the gap and then makes first out at 3B as tying run. f***.
