    No, I wouldn't deal with Mets again. Not so soon anyway. We got royal rip-off last time. If deal Bautista want AL players coming back. That way have WAY better idea just what we are getting.

    Some of that isn't true. Riccardi said on radio he wasn't interested in Dunn because he didn't love baseball...intensity level. Never did try to sign him. Wells contract was Godfrey's doings. Riccardi wanted to trade him. AA will face similar choice with Rasmus. Riccardi was a bad GM. He was narrow minded, never valued speed playing on turf, couldn't manufacture runs, never had a clue how to run a farm system though. Wasn't much in it when he left. But he never did some things put on here. Riccardi did make some great trades....both Bautista and Encarnacion he acquired for next to nil.

    I voted for Riccardi because this season was the season from hell. But there isn't much difference in them

    I don't think DH and losing a draft pick is a priority right now. Money should be spent on either a catcher or starting pitcher

    Good discussion....lot of stuff there I didn't know. Turf gets faster with age, Gibbons country club atmosphere for veterans. They also talk about pairing Lind up with RH bat who can play corner outfield...what about Sierra?

    Janssen and Rasmus are best trade chips. We have depth to replace both.

    Anderson? Think we have enough injured pitchers now. Pitchers who been injured before tend to be injured again.

    Yeah, I was thinking dealing Rasmus and signing a Ellsbury type. Where Rasmus is free agent next year and will get big money also.

    Goins reminds me of a younger Marco Scutaro. When he was with Oakland. Never a top rated prospect but excellent defense, doesn't make a ton of money, can play multiply positions well, adds a little spunk to team.
