  1. Well... When you lay it out like that.
  2. All valid points.
  3. No. But, I really believe the Marlins trade wasn't that devastating. Buerhle as you mentioned held up, and Reyes was a productive player in '14. The Dickey trade of course was terrible, but I'm pretty tired of hearing about it.
  4. Wow. You might as well kill yourself if this is your attitude. I'll make that Tulo trade all day and the Price trade is debatable for now.
  5. if he stays in the pen for '16...
  6. Ah, fair enough. It'd be bizarre to see a player be sent down to work on something else after thriving for a couple seasons.
  7. 2016 is a "win-now" season more than any other. Sending him to AAA wouldn't send the right message or make sense when he fills a need.
  8. He would need to start torquing his waist to relieve the stress on his arm as a starter. He has one of the most "square" deliveries I've ever seen and if he started, MPH would dip off of his fastball and I think he'd get crushed.
  9. He's referring to them absolutely picking Price apart in his tendencies.
  10. I've said the same thing. He doesn't have starters mechanics. His career high is 70IP and I can't even imagine him throwing 175IP with that short max effort delivery.
  11. I mean, 11 starts at the major league level isn't enough to write him off just yet.
  12. The fact that the free agent class is so deep this year changes my view a bit. You gotta give him a chance. He's 23 for f***.
  13. All of a sudden our bullpen is a barren wasteland with Sanchez and Osuna taken out of it.
  14. That's kind of my point. You have to expect some regression, especially with dat ColaBABIPello, but even then...he probably still comes out of it a productive hitter. I could be wrong, but I think he's earned the right to lose the job.
  15. I get your concern, but we both know how often pitching prospects work out. If you're saying you can get 6 years of quality high leverage bullpen work from him, that's a win in my books. That's just how I see it. I'm only the GM of the Vancouver Canadians. (that's a lie, I'm not.)
  16. I think they can easily stack this rotation with #3's and hope that Stroman's trajectory continues upwards and he becomes a definitive #1.
  17. He absolutely won't play there much at all, not with Colabello and Encarnacion. You won't see Bautista play 1B unless he extends here and it'll either be him or Encarnacion. You won't see both of them on the roster after 2016.
  18. I'm not so sure Colabello needs a platoon.
  19. I don't know, man. I think if you move Osuna to the rotation you're asking for problems.
  20. He was pretty crucial in "selling" the club to free agents back in the day. But, you're right. He is living off of past glory.
  21. Ah, yes. Of course I was aware of it, i just didn't know you guys abbreviated it.
  22. What the f*** is FYSMC?
  23. I don't know why I laughed at this. "Yep" at the bottom of my screen, and thought; "Interesting. Cool." Then scrolled down to see "I'm 35." and immediately read it a voice that a little kid with a speech impediment would have. Something similar to Brian Regan. "Oh, I'm 35!"
  24. Did you see him during the celebrations? He turned into an 18 year old right quick.
