    why would melky get 3/$50m - AAV of $16.67million when Cruz just got 4/57 after a much more productive season? Age? Jays allegedly offered 3/39. That seems to be in the right ballpark. maybe settle at 3/42million. Then Melky can be a FA at the same age as Cruz was this year

    Berti is not on the 40 man and is exposed to the rule IV draft (with two open spots currently). I don't think the jays have him in their short term plans

    Okay. However if AA can get a useful piece back for happ (or Navarro) then Norris or Sanchez can step into that slot

    Case closed? Hardly, you realize young players develop and improve? Happ is what he is - a #5 starter. Sanchez has upside to be much better than this. Whether he realizes that upside - we will find out.

    ",, The facts here are correct Tolleson and mactier are defensive liabilities. I don't think either should be on the roster going forward. They don't hit enough to justify their abysmal defence. At least goins provides above average defence to go with his putrid hitting

    Kk Don't you think there was a reason they moved Lind and his mother out of town? Of course we are not in the room but it can be inferred that when the manager says "there have to be changes in the clubhouse" and the first move is moving Lind that he was a desired change.
