  1. He doesn't fill a position of need very well though. His bat is good but his defence and arm are below average now.
  2. I think they will wait it out until the draft pick is off the table for Bautista. I think they want that pick more than him
  3. I'm happy for him, and I know when he comes back to the Toronto he will have a great welcoming
  4. Good for them in acquiring him, That's why its important to build a deep farm system.
  5. You only have 8 in the line-up vs LHP
  6. This should stop all Votto trade suggestions http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/cincinnati-reds-rumors-joey-votto-declines-offer-to-move-to-hometown-blue-jays-111916?cmpid=feed:-sports-CQ-RSS-Feed
  7. How about picking up another gem in the rule 5.....I was just reading that the Yanks farm is loaded with guys left unprotected example Tyler Webb- Lefty relievers are always in demand, and the 26-year-old Webb was pretty effective for Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre, pitching to a 3.59 ERA in 72.2 IP while striking out 27.1% of the batters he faced. Brady Lail- Jeffrey Paternostro of Baseball Prospectus had Lail ranked ninth in the Yankees system prior to the 2016 season, so it’s hard to believe he’s completely lost all of his prospect shine even after a rough season in Triple-A. Still just 23, he had a 4.62 ERA in 126.2 IP. Cale Coshow- A big flame-throwing righty who has bounced between the rotation and the pen, Coshow was ranked as the team’s 22nd best prospect by MLB Pipeline before the season. He was dominant for High-A Tampa in 2015 before some mixed results in Double-A this year.
  8. And even his Little League Coach back then said " he was a great receiver and very good with THE BAT "
  9. I know I'm gonna get murdered but I would keep Sanchez. Now Stroman on the otherhand...
  10. Great job by all! Well put together by King. It was a great read, with a few laughs, I love reading up on our prospects
  11. I don't think the Jays will take a run at anyone with a QO attached, This FO is set on building the farm as well. So I don't think they give those picks up.
  12. Instead of paying EE 125 mil over 5 years why not give that cash to Thole ........LOL f*** I'm glad he's gone
  13. LOL I agree and I think the Jays are only looking at options with no QO attached So Reddick would be nice.
  14. I think the FO is just waiting for Joey Bats to waive his QO and they will have someone signed or traded for by Wed
  15. Two things stand out to me with this signing. 1) I didn't expect the Jays to have much activity in the International scene this year which was a very pleasant surprise 2) More importantly, The Jays FO is showing us the best way to build and sustain a winner is through player development, and once again I give them a passing grade. I'm still puzzled by the Smoak deal.
  16. I think Josh Reddick could be on our radar and one thing that could be appealing to him is the fact his old pal Donaldson is here. It may be small but its still works in our favour.
  17. Teams interested in free agent slugger Edwin Encarnacion will have to pay up for his services, as the designated hitter is reportedly expecting a five-year, $125-million deal in free agency, according to TSN's Rick Westhead, who spoke with Encarnacion's agent, Paul Kinzer. Westhead adds Kinzer expects "10 or 11 teams" to have significant interest in Encarnacion, based on preliminary phone calls the agent's received so far. Encarnacion is coming off another monster season with the Toronto Blue Jays where he led the American League in RBIs with 127. The Dominican slashed .263/.357/.529 in 160 games with Toronto, mashing a career-tying-best 42 home runs. Related: Encarnacion's agent says no 'serious' talks yet with Blue Jays According to Westhead, Kinzer compares Encarnacion's value to that of Chris Davis, who earned a seven-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles last offseason worth $161 million. ***I thought this was exclusive time for him with his team. This should not be allowed
  18. No chance of getting a draft pick anyway, even if he didn't accept it.....no team would sacrifice a draft pick to get him.
  19. WHO GEEVs A FAWK!!!
  20. That's cool .....I did not know that
  21. That's right...Ive never heard of any team winning a best of seven series in 3 games......so it's not over
  22. Tulo on how close knit this team is http://m.torontosun.com/2016/10/13/blue-jays-tulowitzki-this-is-for-everything-its-our-time
