    RHP Julian Merryweather activated from 60-day IL; RHP Casey Lawrence optioned to Triple-A The Blue Jays’ bullpen had been without Merryweather since mid-June, when the hard-throwing righty went down with a left oblique strain. Merryweather made the bulk of his 10 rehab appearances with Triple-A Buffalo before being reinstated between Toronto’s doubleheader games Monday in Baltimore. The 30-year-old sports a 5.28 ERA in 41 appearances (37 in relief) for Toronto since 2020. Additionally, catcher Zack Collins was designated for assignment in a corresponding 40-man roster move.

    LOL, Honestly, I don't really care, It was dumb of me to say one could argue we are worse after these call ups. I dont know what I was thinkin and I apoligise, I should have known we are a far superior team by adding these players to our lineup, now I will show myself to the door. Go Jays Go!!!

    No, thats not what I said, don't change my words, I said One could argue after this call up, our team is worse. Its not dumb, they are both brutal, s***, garbage etc.. Pop and Moreno would have helped, not these two, especially Zimmer. Anyway, lets keep an eye on these call ups and see how they help on our drive to a championship.

    Lawrence (if that was the plan to have him start) could be the extra guy called up the day of the doubleheader as you are allowed to increase roster to 27 on that day.
