Yeah... like I said, the Jays must be desperate. They must not like other 2B options due to pieces they don't want to giveaway in trades, already stretched with their payroll so they won't be able to sign FAs, all other internal options suck. Lawrie already rehabbing and not doing very well this season, and this season is almost a write off so why not see what they have in Lawrie at 2B. Might be a good fit and at least solves 2B for next season if he excels here. Throw EE, J-bau or someone else at 3B next season.

Bryant going to sign for slot. I can't see how Bickford is going to get more than slot. That leaves the extra cash for dem PROSPECTZ!!!!

Lawrie is a very good athlete so I think he can pick up things quite quickly. He's got good hands, agile like a mofo, speed, good arm, range, etc. He'll figure it out and I'm sure he'll do well at 2B. I just hope he hits.

I still wouldn't trade Gose. His tools are still there and he's young. I'd hold onto him for like a few more years and hope he pulls it together.

I often wonder how arguments go down between professional athletes and their wives, just after getting caught cheating or s*** like this. I bet it happens often, but most often than not they usually still stick together.

I like the move. I think it shows that the Jays are desperate, but I think Lawrie is gonna do really well at 2B.

I can still choose 0HRs for tonight, right? Either 0HRs or 1HR from J-Bau is my prediction.

I think it's smart and shows a bit of humility. The Jays, Gibby and probably Dickey himself knows he'll get crushed again, so why not dodge the start before the AS break and try to end it on a high. Gibbons probably had a 1-on-1 w/ Dickey and they both probably agreed this was best.

I hope they avoid the luxury tax for '14 but are still on hook for the rest of the contract -
