  8. That was pretty.
  9. Cavs making it look easy.
  10. jesus christ
  11. Lol Derozan
  12. Swish.
  13. Gotta slow it down.
  14. Pretty stoked for this game.
  15. Except Law is a bit of a ****, and on top of that, almost all of his useful-ish content is pushed behind a paywall through ESPN Insider, so a lot of what he says isn't appreciated or even read by most people.
  16. I actually somewhat like Morosenthal. Jays get a lot of national attention because of them.
  17. I really hate myself for missing yesterday's game, completely forgot it was on. Is it common for there to be a day's rest between every game?
  18. I wouldn't be opposed to this.
  19. Finally listened to the whole interview and all I have to say is... "I think what makes him so good at framing balls is the fact that he's got those soft hands" - AA 2014.
  20. Yes. It might be hard to look at the bigger picture for idiots like you, but maintaining a good image, maintaining a better clubhouse atmosphere, and making decisions that keep ownership and your players happy are all factors that the front office actually has to take into account. This atrocious Toronto media already loves to turn every pellet of s*** into a s*** storm, and this idiotic new narrative about Dickey being a "clubhouse cancer" (just because he keeps to himself) is a great example of that. If Dickey winds up unhappy with the guy catching him and says something about it, or even wears his dreary "depressed-old-man" expression on his stupid mug long enough, the media would have a field day with it. You make compromises with the clubhouse when you're getting Yunel Escobar from the Braves for nothing in return. You don't deal with all of that garbage for Erik Kratz.
  21. I would very much rather go with Dirks and Pillar as opposed to paying Hunter 10M. And like you said in your post, people don't like coming to Toronto; Hunter is one of the players that likes Toronto the least. He has a strong dislike for playing on turf, and he likened the Rogers center field to "running in sand".
  22. LaRoche at 2/25 would probably have given you exactly what you'd be looking for in Bruce, without the prospect cost. Was also coming off a better season, and would probably have been a bigger upgrade at his position to boot (LaRoche over Smoak vs Bruce over Dirks).
  23. They did use Kratz. Significantly. You can only have three catchers on the roster for so long. I don't know why people constantly rage about Kratz when they know about the whole Dickey/Thole ********. You guys aren't working in the front office, you guys hardly ever take the business side of the game into account. Keeping your employees happy, especially ones that cost you d'Arnaud and Syndergaard and are considered one of the biggest wild cards in the game, yeah.. that's a thing.
  24. And Lawrie was pegged to be an atrocious defender prior to his callup. lol.
