  1. That inning started with a.. Bloup. http://res.cloudinary.com/urbandictionary/image/upload/a_exif,c_fit,h_200,w_200/v1395991705/gjn81wvxqsq6yzcwubok.png
  2. And of course f***ing "gritty and gutty" is up to the plate with two on an none out.
  3. I've started to get uncomfortable watching Loup come out in these situations now. I hope that's misplaced.
  4. Got in at 9 PM, why am I not surprised that Travis was involved in both of the first two runs, in two separate innings. Love that little oompa loompa.
  5. Betances has been decent, getting a lot of movement, painted the corners a few times. Getting outmatched by amazing plate discipline by the Jays prodigious 3-4-5.
  6. I feel sorry for Pompey. He needs a hug after that first pitch.
  7. "90 feet in a one run game will really get you... closer to another run." Buck's analysis is so exhilerating.
  8. Is SportsNet f***ing serious with showing the Leafs game right now? Where is the game being played? SN1?
  9. If we're talking about a guy's career with a specific franchise, Doc posted 49 wins with the Jays in just 2046 innings. If you compare that to historical Yankees' SP, you can argue that Doc's Jays career is better than any Yankees starting pitcher outside of Andy Pettitte. Whitey Ford posted 6 more WAR than Doc did, but it took him 1100 more innings to do it. Sabathia has given the Yankees 24.7 WAR in 1162 innings. While he's been really good in the time he's been with them, I don't think Sabathia's pinstripe career comes anywhere near what Doc did for the Jays.
  10. Filled out a Yankee one too, went with Babe, Gehrig, Mantle, Mariano. Funny story: if you duplicate Roy Halladay's Blue Jays career into a Yankee uniform, he'd actually be the third best starting pitcher in Yankees history.
  11. I went with the exact same four. Doc, Stieb and Joey are easy picks for me, then it becomes a toss-up between Fernandez and Delgado. Went with Delgado just because he spent more consecutive seasons with the Jays and because dingerslol. That four homer game is one of my best baseball memories ever.
  12. It's probably a pretty easy argument to make that Jose Bautista is already the greatest Blue Jays position player ever, considering how much value he's actually provided in as little time as he has, but in terms of historical value, he's just a few games away from passing Barfield into the all-time top 3: http://i.imgur.com/H4o4eXm.png At the rate he's going, it probably won't be long before he climbs to the top of that list, despite having played fewer games than nearly every other guy on there. Side note, I never noticed how Delgado/Fernandez and Wells/Moseby pretty much provided almost exactly the same amount of WAR in almost exactly the same amount of games.
  13. How?! They look like carbon copies to me... http://i.gyazo.com/15cd1278417c4ee8b98ad2a7d1726a36.png
  14. Off topic, but how do more people not talk about how much Gibby is Jack Nicholson's god damn doppelganger? http://i.gyazo.com/76d58531d9d792cd8c42720e15d40b57.png
  15. Pirates extend Harrison:
  16. Tomorrow's game is pretty much a lock to get postponed as well. http://i.gyazo.com/68c24ba8ec716db5272771260408f17a.png Kinda blows when you wait all winter for the season to start, and then when they tease you with an excellent Game 1, there's no ball for the next three days.
