    Man, I wanted Price to come back so bad in 2015. I knew it was a bad idea and I liked getting Happ but I didn't expect Happ to outproduce Price overall in those 3 years. Pretty happy to see him get lit up now especially for Boston.

    Yeah, I thought the same as the entire hoopla with JD being 'injured/sore calf' last week made his waiver fuzzy. Because the player has to be healthy / rehab assignment before MLB would consider them waiver eligible?

    Atkins on Tim & Sid said that they know the player and they didn't clear waivers, they were claimed. So it can't be Merryweather? He's on the DL and cannot be put on waivers no?

    He now has an OPS over .800 as well (.806). Not bad for a 20 year old in his first season of double AA while having some cold streaks in there.

    No? The Yankees claimed Robertson a few years ago so to block the Jays from getting him.     He has had such a turnaround since his post-DL stint. Since June 1st he's hitting at 132 wRC+ but most encouraging is his K rate is down to 21.8%. Not crazy BABIP levels either at .299 which is around his career norm (.303). Overall for the season he now sitting at 111 wRC+, 1.3 WAR. Not bad for Leon/Green. Diaz trade is even better considering J.B. Woodman got released.

    Look, I am not saying he's the next Trout. Obviously. Trout is RHH. McKinney is LHH. He's the next Harper. Like 2015 MVP Harper, not this .247 BA 2018 Harper.

    I thought Diaz was having a terrible season but he has 99 wRC+ and 1.1 fWAR overall. A lot better than I thought.
