    This offseason is too long already. I want some baseball dammit! He showed no emotion but you could tell he was dying inside. I loved it even more as a FU to him for rejecting his trades to Toronto so much. We could have been together, we could have had something special Hamels.

    This is true. As a reviler Sanchez did spot a 3.10 FIP and 3.33 xFIP. He is a ideal facing RHP as well. So.. he is the anti-Loup. Really you can find relievers who can do what Sanchez can. He you can probably trade him to some dumb GM *looks at Arizona* for a decent piece and a reliever similar to him *looks at Delgado*

    Saunders has become a large question mark. I am sure AA would have brought him back, but not sure if Shapiro will. Even if he does come back you start him off in the minors to ensure he can play. Saunders could very well turn out to be Andy Dirks this season. Pompey, while I have great confidence in him, this team needs on contingency plan should he crap the bed. Aoki could provide you 1-2 WAR and cost less than Revere.

    I am actually a little shocked that the Giants passed on the option for Nori Aoki. If Revere is traded, would love him as the 4th OF. Could be a great 1 year deal singing to rebuild his value in a hitter friendly park.

    I think I too made that proposal too!.... But in jest. Lol. NJH (?) had a article on breakingblue in regards to Revere's trade possibilities which I though was great! Loved the Chavez idea from Athletics but knowing Bean he'd likely prefer prospects with more control.

    Yeah.. Revere won't get you much and sure as heck not Chapman. It'd likely take one of Osuna / Sanchez and one of Pompey / Alfrod and maybe another throw in piece here and there. Plus I doubt the Jays would have the best package or even go after Chapman. I don't see Shapiro going after players with 1 year of control while giving up multiple years of control of MLB ready prospects.

    Not sure if I am randomly making this up but, didn't Shapiro make a proprietary OF stat called DZone? Going off the name something tells me he may value players like Pompey and Pillar. Again I could be full of it, but think I read this somewhere.

    Forgot how old he was honestly. Thought he was closer to early 30s than mid 30s. Its crazy how there is just a nose dive. Happened to Reyes this season after putting up 3 WAR last season. Dang older position players, you scary.

    They have Tim Anderson. What happened to Ramirez this season. 6 consecutive seasons of 2 WAR, averaged 3 WAR over that span and this year just nose dived. He has never been a great hitter but his defense and baserunning just plummeted. Could be a good option for many teams looking for a gap at SS or a backup SS, depending on what he signs for.

    I would be shocked if a team gave Shark 20 Mil/Year. I would expect somewhere in the 15 Mil range. I have been wrong before and bigger things have surprised me (Wells trade, Donaldson trade, etc.).

    I don't know about the later part but he likely won't be worth 20M the coming years. For what its worth, I don't see the Jays trading him. Not because they don't want to but also because I doubt they really can.

    Remember the hype was pretty crazy. Recall some people, not specifically on this forum, having debates between Strasburg vs Kershaw. That debate came crashing down fast haha.

    Mhm. Fair enough. But if this team trades Tulo you're likely going to see a drop in WAR for SS position regardless, unless they somehow get Lindor or Carrera. The hope is the player returning and/or signed makes up for it in the other positions. Could also see SD. I know s***ing on AJ is a dead horse but they could use a SS. I would love to see the overreaction on a Andrus trade to the Jays.

    You realize only AA is gone so far and the scouts that actually went to see the players from the draft play are still here right? I mean if this was hockey I could give AA credit for walking up to the podium and announcing who he drafted but nope, can't even give him that credit. For Nationals for Rendon. They need a shortstop after Desmond leaves! /ignores the fact they have Turner/ All kidding aside not sure who is out there to replace Tulo as SS. Despite the decent year he had you certainly don't bank on Goins taking the reins at SS. Maybe Asdrubal Cabrera on a short term contract and trade Tulo retaining some salary for a pitcher. Where did you hear this? Not the Brantley part, I know that is BS, but the "allowed" bringing 2 of his people.
