Nate Pearson never excited me. I've only read reports on him, never seen him play. Why not push for a high school pitcher that also have a "Great fastball, work on off-speed pitches needed" profile? Even if the high school names won't be there when the Jays pick (Baz, Carlson) I'd prefer Brendon Little over Pearson. Plus he has had screws in his arms, what impact could that have to the longevity?
Seems like a Derek Mcguire pick. I trust the Jays and their scouting but man, it may take me time to come around to him if picked.
