Are you guys for real? He's doing alright now. Right now all 3 are very similar, Goins being the better defender and IMO with a higher upside.

The Brewers have signed reliever Jeremy Jeffress to a minor league deal, the club announced. Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reported earlier (on Twitter) that it appeared a deal was in the works.

The first effort was 100% his fault. The 2nd attempt, i don't think it was his fault, the ball was really far away from him, he just couldn't reach it.

It's very hard to judge based on a few games in those conditions, it could easily have been 2 above .500, can't do much about it.

For sure, even some of his other games, it looked like he got lucky because his command wasn't that great. No such luck this time and i'm sure now that everyone knows about this problem, they will use the same approach against him.

If you have no fastball command, hitters won't chase his slider, it's that simple. I think he threw a lot more sliders than fastballs...

Why should they put Lind on the DL? There is no real source saying it's bad. The only "source" that said something said his facial expression looked troublesome after he played. We don't know if it's 1 game or 5 games or 30 games.

I don't know the situation with Rasmus but might be a good idea to keep him out of the lineup tomorrow. So maybe Melky in CF for game 1 and Gose in CF for game 2. -
Any real status update on Lind? I liked having him between Bautista and EE.

A roof like that can easily cost 100 million, even 200. So, paying that much money for what, 5 games in a year? Might not make the most sense.

To be honest, i thought it was a bad idea to play Bautista in CF just because he has very little experience there. Melky was a CF for quite some time in his career to it made more sense. Maybe they didn't want Sierra in LF, who knows.

It made the situation worse than it should have been. That's cause and effect. You could argue that it wouldn't have mattered but nobody really knows. It clearly had some impact and didn't make the situation any better.

The only thing he said was that the Jays know what he thinks about the bullpen. But really, nothing wrong there, the guy wants to start games and know there is no room so he's going to be in the pen until then.

I honestly don't know how you guys can watch the game live. Am i the only one who PVRs the game and watch it ~1 hour delayed so i could skip all the breaks?

Of course, but it led to those runs and the impact was bigger than it should have been.

Pitchers aren't robots though, they don't always react well to things on the field which leads to command issues. That triple could have been a single and the bounce off the wall could have been a long single.

I thought it was funny last night the half the people here said it was a bad idea to put Bautista CF and Sierra RF and they pretty much cost us 2 runs/more pitches to Morrow. Was actually laughing pretty hard when i saw those botched plays, not because i wanted anyone to fail but because everyone here said it and it happened. Was also funny how Sierra tried to beat the throw to first base and jumped and missed the bag and fell down. Thank god nothing happened to him though.

He's lefty, same with Kawasaki. I want credit for calling Sierra over Rasmus, it's not often i get things right.
